Thalys trains need a bit of a face lift. Really worn out and grubby. I have travelled on Thalys Premium class a couple of times and from my personal experience, quality of service just keeps going downwards with every year. Few years ago a delicious meal at your seat used to be exactly that. A plentyful and delicious meal, good portions and quite the variety. Nowadays it's just not worth paying for Premium when you receive a standard light meal at your seat. The only advantage of Premium is still the lounge access (where you have, the flexible ticket conditions and the spacious /not so crowded cabin. Food as well as services on board need some improvement.

Deze trein maandelijks genomen naar Parijs. Als je dan met drie collega's in die vierzit zit en een paar gebruiken dan hun laptop, (schijnwerken noem ik dat dan) is je beenruimte nihil, zeker als 1. 92 bent. Inderdaad eten stelt niets voor, in de vroege morgen hadden ze soms geen koffie meer. Nee, first class onwaardig!
En laat Frank Fol dit zelf eens proberen, ik denk dat hij beschaamd zou zijn(Of het moest hem veel centjes opbrengen)
Jammer dat er werken waren in het station want het is echt een pracht!

Used them a lot for work trips - all business class seating, a more effective use of time than flying Amsterdam-Paris. The toilets are dirty fast without any cleaning effort to recover, and the wifi sucks for many years. The seats feel and look in need of replacement. One trip; you can buy quality sandwiches at the train station and ignore the food on the train - also saves you waiting on them to remove the services are use.

fast train, but the service is soso. long ago I often travelled with the TEE 'Ile de France': excellent dinnerservice between Bruxelles and Paris-Nord but those trains took 5 hours from Rotterdam on towards Paris! may be the catering will become better with Eurostar: catering in the Amsterdam - London connexion is also better I found.

I really enjoy travelling by train. Both of those meals were disappointing, but at least there's the bar carriage if you need more food. and beer.

Everything looks so old, worn out and dirty. Toilets look quite nice. French TGVs and Italian Frecciarossa are way better than this.
