Join me on full tour of Savute Elephant Lodge, a Belmond Safari, the best luxury lodge in Botswana's world-famous Chobe National Park. The video includes some incredible close-up encounters with wild animals (leopards, lions, wild dogs, and elephants. Through Botswana’s Chobe National Park flows a mysterious channel - a ghost river called Savute - that appears intermittently, regardless of rainfall, and whose water can change direction. The heart of the most biologically diverse game reserve in Botswana, the Savute is where the BBC and National Geographic have captured some of their best wildlife documentary footage. On the banks of the Savute River, in the elephant capital of the world, lies Belmond Savute Elephant Lodge, offering 12 tented rooms are shaded by traditional thatched roofs and built on raised wooden platforms for better viewing over the Savute. Guests can go out on safari every morning and afternoon, but one of the most memorable experiences comes from simply sitting on the private deck as a parade of elephants walks by. Remarkable! It’s so nice to see these animals in the wild, their land, their habitat. I’ve only seen such animals in a zoo so I know I am missing all the wonder. Curious I didn’t see any guns did the hosts carry them should an animal try to attack as I thought you all were pretty close to them One more question we were wondering did the wild dogs eat one of their own. It sure looked like they were eating one of the pack. Amazing adventure safari. We enjoyed watching it as we enjoy watching all your adventures. This particular one is my favorite Thank you for sharing all your vacations.

I always enjoy your travel videos. They are beautifully shot and they inspire my travel bucket list. You were VERY LUCKY to see both leopards and a pride of lions on Safari. It's very rare to see a pride of lions walking around the bush and even more rare to see a leopard on Safari.

Splendid Indeed! You have allowed me travel to see many distant & intriguing places while relaxing in my living room for so long. Kudos, LTE (my love of Elephants runs deep August 12th [my birthdate] was named International Elephant Awareness Day in 2011) looking forward to Morocco.

Respect to the safari staff for being professional and keeping everyone safe. They must know what they're doing. I know nothing about Botswana, so I appreciate the guide talking around the fire. Thanks for sharing your experience with us.

By the way, what kind of vaccines and pills do you take to go there. Could you be so kind to share. Thank you

man, this is paradise.
I feel so sorry for those miserable slave lions
locked up in those filthy prison zoo cages
exploited for profit and entertainment.
