I recently visited Singapore using ANA business class (The Room) to fly from JFK to Haneda and then on to Jakarta/Bali. Then I flew KLM business class 787 to visit Singapore. Flew ANA to return to America.
I enjoyed seeing Singapore, but not the daily 95 degree heat or the food.
I am very happy to see the direction air travel is going. Eventually there will be more NONSTOP FLIGHTS from any city to any other city thanks to the Airbus A350-900 and A350-1000.
I'm also happy to see they dropped economy completely and went with 80% BUSINESS and 20% Premium economy.
I wish more airlines would do this for these super long flights. Anything above 13 hours really.
I hope someday that economy would be eliminated ENTIRELY and we can have humane spacing again.

You all seem to miss the point of Business Class: it's about functionality and practicality delivered in an appealing way. As someone who booked business class for my clients, it was never about luxury. It was about them bing able to turn up to wherever they were going ready for work. And, if needs be, to work on the flight. My bosses would, in fact, get annoyed at the endless freebies that cost them money that they weren't going to use and they know would go to waste. Often the people reviewing these services don't actually know that they're designed for.

Thanks for sharing your Video. It's always a pleasure to watch (you know me. As for the crew compliment: I think, part of the crew is proceeding for whatever reason (meaning, part of them, flying as passengers. Because even with 6 pilots, I doubt that theres Pilots Training taking place. When Pilots have there mandatory check, there is usually one Cpt. in command, a second Cpt, called check Captain, conducting the check and evaluating the flying pilot and one Senior First officer, sometimes two First Officers.

The business class seat is beautiful, it seems like the seat extended as maximum as they could, visually that looks like a first class seat.
I am not sure the storage space, it looks pretty small in 3 different areas. Also all seats actually near the corridor, I am not sure all travelers would love this.
No matter how, everyone expect Singapore Airline delivers one of the best, and impressive as always. It is a really enjoyable to watch, thank you expert!

Unrivaled work and very impressive video that leaving no room for doubt.
This is clearly a Masterpiece!
Dear Friend! I should roll out the red mat for You. Thanks for all the best things we watched about the travels in this year! Considering Your unbelievable passion to the travels I have no right not to say:

I liked the look of the lounge. And the breakfast was interesting! The layout of the cabin was lovely. I still find turbulence scary. However, there are some routes that I’m more familiar with. If I feel turbulence in an area where I’ve felt turbulence before, I’m less nervous. For instance, before landing in Toronto, there is an area over upstate New York and Lake erie where there is always turbulence. I just mentally prepare myself.

It's a lovely video. well done. Turbulence comes in handy should you want your martini shaken. and not stirred! I thought the seat looked comfy, but I must admit that any foot rest on an angle is not ever user friendly! Lobster for breakfast I am impressed! Dear LTE, do you ever drink alcohol on a flight to calm your nerves Have a merry and blessed Christmas, my friend! And do get some rest!

The food in the Terminal 2 business lounge sucks. It was the worst food i have experienced in a business class lounge. And i was not alone. Most of the abandoned plates were half eaten. Singapore must have been a great airline and may still be decent onboard. But to be the best in the world you have to hit on all aspects of the experience. Definitely not the best in the world.

Thank you for another great video! I experienced my first Singapore Airlines business class flight recently and I have to admit I'm a convert now.
I hope the product is consistent across their fleet, not enough flights completed to judge.
However, the crew deserve 100% the award for being the best cabin crew in the world!
Cheers to your next journey!

The business seats are horrible. When you lay flat your legs have to be tucked over to one side in a pocket hole and not straight ahead. It is uncomfortable and awkward. I have been on both the A350 and A380 with SQ and both are shit. Especially the older A380 seats are rock hard. Anyone who thinks this is the best Business class seat needs their head read!
reply

I was lucky enough to experience the incomparable comfort and service in SIA's Business Class only a few months ago. Same kind of seats & food, lying Melbourne to Singapore return.
The only criticism I have is that the flight wasn't long enough!
I have no idea how I'm going to go back to Economy after this.

reply

The Singapore Airlines business class is still a very good product, very spacious. The best seats are in the A380 where the seats come with touchscreen and seats that convert to the flatbed electrically. In the A350 and the Boeing 777 the seats have to be brought in bed mode manually, which is not so comfortable.

Just flew with SG to Amsterdam last month (economy though, loved it! Don’t they serve the iconic satay anymore in business Or was this because of Singapore’s 60 year’s celebration
Thank you for yet another great video, looking forward to them every Saturday!

Hoe have you not mentioned the insanity of having to sit and sleep side saddle in the worst business class seats in the air There is no tilt and to rest your feet (without sleeping) you have to twist your back and legs to get any kind of raised support! Clearly a paid video.

9: 36 I suppose the three names on the labels left and right for the sauces mean with left to right order.
So the Thousand island I suppose is the white sauce at right. Mustard left from Th. island and Caesar is the yellow transparent sauce left from Mustard. Correct

reply

Short answer: It's not. Qatar Q-Suite is just superior in every detail and food&drink options and quality were just perfect when we flew 4x Qatar. Singapore Business was lacking and could not even satisfy expectations unfortunately.
reply

I will be flying business Singapore in a few months but your video depressed me
My experience with Air Tahiti Nui last year was quite greater both for quality of food/drinks that were customized and privacy

reply

Your video is the first where I saw The JEWEL at nighttime. I personally saw it in daytime. Amazing what people can do when they aren't wasting their money on attacking other countries.
reply

I just can’t believe how wrong SQ got it when they designed these seats. Everything else was top notch but the seat design let them down. Oooh. that prawn carrot cake is so yummy!
reply

I just flew my first business class trip with Singapore Airlines. While the service was impeccable this has to be the most uncomfortable seat I’ve ever experienced.
