Join me on this flight in Business Class onboard a Cathay Dragon Airbus A319 from Phnom Penh (Cambodia's capital) to Hong Kong. The clip was recorded at the end of February when the Coronavirus pandemic started spreading across the world

The seats are good for an A320. I really HATE those so-called Business Class seats on European airlines when they are just tiny economy seats separated by an empty one! The food on this flight however is mediocre - I had the same before on Cathay Dragon flying to Phuket. Both the salad and the main are just 20% bigger than Economy Class's, when they should have been multi-course with more expensive ingredients like prime steak or cod! They do that on Singapore Airline. If you read the news, the HK airline is now under the government's rescue plan. It has fallen from grace. If they don't survive this time, it would probably be sold to the Chinese, it's when I will black list Cathay like I have on all Chinese airlines!

You have to feel for the aircrew. Here in the UK, British Airways has been severely criticised by the Government who have accused them of using the pandemic as an excuse to lay off up to 12, 000 employees, and imposing much reduced terms and conditions on it's remaining workforce. I am also convinced that some airlines will never recover from this outbreak, and will not resume flying after things return to some semblance of normality. As aircraft will have to fly initially observing some sort of social distancing, I am also convinced that air fares will increase significantly, at least in the short term.

Greetings from Hong Kong! CX and KA are my local airline! Even though a lot of the things they did lately are not to my expectations. I still have a deep emotional connection with them and sad to see them suffer through the pandemic. Hopefully they will recover. And meanwhile I can just watch your video all day.

If you get to the point where you can't travel overseas, will you be able to post extended videos of places you have already been to? I would hate to miss out on your weekly videos and would happily watch longer videos of some of the resorts.

business class for such a short flight? I usually only fly coach for anything under 4 hours, after about 4. 5-5 hours I start getting grumpy and need to the extra space

Thank you, Doctor. It's a bit eerie to see how empty the lounge was. And a bit disconcerting to see how crowded the bus was. Be well and safe.
