Rather surprised me, between Mission Viejo and Lake Forest, your speeding the playback; everyone including yourself, seemed to be driving "recklessly", but then I remembered the speed up that you warned us about. I was possibly expecting a horrible wreck up ahead, but thankfully there was none. After the congestion, everyone seemed to come to a stop; that's how rapid your speed step-down was! Trippy! Makes life interesting indeed.
UPDATE: We did get to witness a minor wreck--or its aftermath--plus, not far after, the CHP had pulled someone over for some kind of Traffic Violation. That was between Anaheim and Downey

I was born and raised in L. A. for about nine years, and then for whatever reason my parents decided to move to Seattle. Idk why but Washington in general seems like such a depressing state, so I'm really missing living in Cali. But luckily I get to visit Cali every year, because most of my family lives there. So thank you for making these videos, this brings back amazing memories of when I had a happy life.

Gotta say fast-forwarding through the traffic slow-downs felt a little like cheating, but I suppose the video would've been 3 hours otherwise. Have you thought about drives in other weather conditions A night drive in a thunderstorm with lots of lightning, through a snowstorm or maybe just a steady rain Just a thought from a guy who loves a scenic drive in all kinds of weather.

Road trip fan here from NYC. been to west coast dozen times & Alway's hear about southern C. A. traffic. I can guaranteed you is not even close to NYC traffic- we move inches at a time on Highway - you guy's moving 35 -40mph on Freeway traffic. in the city local traffic you can be stuck on a certain streets for no reason / not moving / how about 15mins to go 3 blocks.

American traffic signs use a specific standard:
Yellow diamond for warning signs
Red and green for regulatory signs
Black rectangle for information signs

Thank you for putting the highway details in the description. I’m familiar with SoCal so I geeked out over the deets.

The video of the coastline was fresh, probably because there were many country roads in Utah, Colorado, or Nevada.
