I-95 JFK Highway in Maryland used to be a breeze from Delaware line to White Marsh in suburban Baltimore in the 1980s. It is now jammed with traffic and still only 6 lanes. Over 30 years ago Delaware was planning a dual 3-3-3-3 configuration for I-95 just like NJ Tpke did north of Exit #6. Should have done it and Maryland should have done the same from Delaware line to Baltimore. I see that it is terrible now the way it is with all the traffic. Do they not still charge tolls

Next time you come up to Toll Central, PLEASE avoid the combined cash/EZPass tollbooths. While it's not the end of the world if you enter one of these tollbooths, it is a lot faster to take an EZPass only booth.

The tunnels and the bridges switched to one way collecting of tolls on midnight Aug. 19, 1969. I paid half a buck going into Manhattan earlier that night and stayed past midnight so I beat the toll coming back.

That is a very nice video. I also enjoyed watching the customary traffic jam on I-95 south in Harford County, MD.
