Hello! I live in Mexico and work in Eagle Pass. It was kinda weird to see the town from a visitor's p. o. v. The mural you saw across the Rio Bravo (Rio Grande) is part of the Paseo del Rio, a recreational, family friendly walk area created for the people to enjoy. The area you drove into to get close to the river is the golf course. I thought you would drive by the little San Juan Plaza. It is very pretty, specially in Christmas time, when it is decorated with tons of lights. Or drive up Hill Crest street, where you can have a full view of both Eagle Pass and Piedras Negras. It was strange not to see migrants along the border, usually when I drive across the bridge, you can see many of them lingering around waiting to cross the river.

We went to Mexico and learned that there are entire cities of Mexicans there. The entire country was full of Mexicans, everywhere you went there were Mexicans.
When we got to Southern Mexico all the Mexicans were about four foot ten at the most- we felt like giants from another world. I'm not sure why they only get that tall, but everything shrinks- doors ceilings, etc. The animals are normal size and so are the plants and trees. South Mexico is like visiting a doll house.
I want to visit again, because the people were nice, the food was good, and it's a different culture.

Sad town. Pity you didnt Piedras Negras- black feet. Looked greener and friendler than Eagles Claw. The latter reminds of East Berlin. Militatary, barbed wire. And Piedras Negras which looks greener, nature, horses grazing looks more lile relaxed West Berlin. Nice river, nobody fishing, kayaking. The US has based its culture today on violence. It was supposed to be the land of freedom which gave refuge and hope to persecuted Europeans and helped create Irish independence and eventually peace in Ireland. Hopefully, the US wil rediscover its real values.

Turkiye had land-mines along its entire southern & south-eastern borders with Syria, Iraq, & Iran. The WESTERN international community ( Europe. and others ) DEMANDED Turkiye remove it all, for humanitarian reasons. Shortly thereafter, illegal migration into Turkiye increased to the point where Turkish military presence had to be stepped up with guard towers every mile or so. Now the problem has been minimized but still not like it was when the land-mines were in place. Now Turkiye is also constructing a border-wall. .

My great grandmother and great grandfather lived there in the late 1800’s. She worked in a hotel there and she eventually married my great grandfather. After they had a truck farm in Piedras Negras which failed. From there they went to Guadalupe, MX on the east side of Monterrey where my great grandfather built a brick factory. My grandmother was born there. So nice to see this video and see where they lived for a time.

Total disregard for another country's sovereignty. Yet countries like Mexico expect their sovereignty to be respected/upheld by others. That's why they ill-treat even visitors to their countries, especially Turkish people. There have been recent numerous reports of the ill-treatment of visitors to Mexico, from Turkiye, at its Mexico City airport.

Well you did it again! A very interesting video of Eagle Pass. Never been there but have heard of it, now I know. Maybe it's just me, but towards Normandy, sure seemed like border patrol kinda dropped the ball. But my ole friend, I learned alot in this video and gotta move on to the next one. See you on the flip side.

I’m sure radio traffic was pretty heavy while you were cruising around. The Border Patrol was describing you to each other, LEO were in contact, and the Nat’l Guard guys were all saying, Yeah, we see him. Ya wanna stop him I was astounded at the low crime rate! Anyway, great video, as always. Keep up the great work.

I wouldn't live in a border town for anything. It was bad enough when we were stationed in El Paso Texas. I remember when we would go back and forth to Albuquerque NM. All the rest areas had signs telling you not to pickup anyone or give ride's to anyone

Everybody is illegal. Mexicans in America and Americans in Mexico. However, for a brief moment, Nobody is illegal at the border demarcation zone. Not owned by either country. Fences and demarcation zones are problems created by humans.

I've been led to believe there's a steady stream in biblical proportions of human beings passing thru Eagle Pass but how is it that there's none at the moment Do they come in droves and then disappear for a few days

Everything is monitored not only by vehicles and boats, there are also drones constantly watching.
You must be careful when walking in secluded places because you may encounter dangerous police officers.

He is probably a coyote watching to see if they can bring some more people across the board. I, too, am shocked the boarder patrol hasn't at least asked what you are doing. Crazy.

If Biden & Company made a trip to the border at the same time as this video was made, they could easily SWEAR the border is secure. just don't ask questions.
