A while back I bought several pairs of Darn Tough socks from Darn Tough. They've worn like iron. they're about as comfy as a military wool blanket though.
My wife then wanted to buy me some more Darn Tough pairs as a gift. she noticed they were a dollar cheaper a pair on Amazon, so she bought them there. These were way more comfortable & they did wear decently actually. finally holes in 2 pairs of the ones we bought on Amazon. sent them into Darn Tough. they gave us credit toward new socks but told us the comfy pairs we bought on Amazon were all counterfeit Darn Tough socks & they were working with Amazon on the issue.

I love my smart wool but I agree they where out way too fast. I never tried darn tough. I do ride a Harley Davison put on about 10, 000 miles a year There socks which are a blend of wool and synthetic. I just can t seem to wear them out not even wearing boots and riding over 10, 000 miles a year. The only bad thing is like everything else from Harley they re made in Taiwan or China Just figured I d throw that out there. Oh by the way I used them for canoeing and camping in the Adirondacks mountains. Like I said never wore a pair out yet. Stay safe!

Hi
I have a pair of farm to fork socks. Im not disappointed in them. But I have used darn tough and smart wool. But, I mostly use smart wool softer and more comfortable to me. And I have pairs that are three years out and have NEVER worn a hole in them. Never had blisters with them. I think they are the best and softer.
I wore a pair if darn tough on a Mt. Whitney summitt hike and they caused blisters on both feet. So, for me, the guarantee is not as important. I love smart wool better.
Thanks Dixie

I have had an obsession with wool socks for the last 17 years since I started backpacking. Darn tough have done the best for me so far. Still haven't worn any of them out! I don't know how I feel about returning a worn-out sock for a replacement because when I wear something out you can bet I got my money's worth!

Dixie don't you ever untie your shoe laces if you use them like that you can be more prone to slip and blisters and support to your feet its called laziness try pulling your laces to fit your feet not tight tight but enough so you cant slip out of your shoes that's why you buy shoes to fit.

I ve only had to return one pair of Darn Tough socks. Customer service was great. I have about 7 pairs now. I keep hoping to lose or wear out an older pair so I can get one of the new designs. My oldest ones are about six years old. They just keep going.

My preference is Darn Tough; however, does anyone make a sock that doesn't disappear in the dryer? And when a sock does disappear, where does it go? Is there another dimension that is filled with missing socks? Just wondering.

I had seen the brand Farm to Feet a while back and was interested, but I'm a Darn Tough girl too. After hearing your review, I may have to purchase at least one pair to try for myself. Thanks for all your honest reviews!

Warning to those with diabetic neuropathy and Charcot foot, toes socks can be incredibly difficult to put on. So maybe buy just one pair to test before you commit to purchasing multiple pairs.
