Can we just talk about how much the Traverse has glowed up This looks absolutely amazing, hands down the best rendition of the divorced headlight/DRL styling that I’ve seen yet! But the rear looks even better than the front end. I don’t know if the interior has improved more or the exterior but I can confidently say I’d be test driving this even if I didn’t need the third row! Chevrolet has been on a serious roll since the reveal of the new Trax! The new Traverse is finally resembling its bigger brother the Tahoe, which is what I’ve personally been waiting for. The technology upgrades are also greatly welcomed with most people feeling the outgoing interior was staring to feel dated.

Well if this means Enclave or Acadia are $60, 000 range then that is a tough hurdle. Hope GM does the eight speed this time better than the last 8 speed tranny disaster. New power trains are not something GM ever does well. so wait til 2027 I guess ie 2-3 years to fix bigger problems Maybe a base trim plus a little could workdetail feature differences will be a key to a decent $45, 000 model tax and title to be below $50k. out the door. or Maybe $56k for Buick or GMdream on.
PS I assume no cylinder deactivation nonsense on this 4 cylinder. if it does then check off Gen Motors as an avoid

GM did a much better job this time on the Traverse. This vehicle should sell even better especially for larger families. I've owned a Traverse and Enclave and both were great comfortable vehicles and weren't hard to maintain. It will be interesting how the 4 cylinder does in such a large vehicle especially when loaded to its max capacity. GM should have given another choice in powertrains. Ford gives choices in their Explorer as does the Dodge Durango. I'm not a fan of the one motor fits all approach especially for the asking prices of these vehicles.

Where’s the headlight controls Right, there is none. You have to go into the infotainment screen menus to turn the headlights on/off! Like wise for the heated/cooled seats, the traction control off, and many of the climate control functions like mode and recirc!
GM has cheapened the vehicle by eliminating a lot of the physical controls and buttons!

Tesla Model Y is really starting to make its presence felt absolutely. Definitely would have gone with a 6 cylinder or even the GM 3 liter diesel as an option if serious about towing. Hyundai-Kia, Toyota and Nissan will be taking a huge hit from this offering in the meantime absolutely. Verdict: think I'll wait for Cadillac answer to this first.

Man I really wish Chev would get back into making hybrids. This would easily be on a lot of family's shopping lists as top contender if they've stop devoting themselves to EV only. Good new design, choices and pricing, but without some hybrid fuel economy as an option, they're leaving a demographic of shoppers to go elsewhere.

We love our 2018 Traverse, waited forever for the new Pilot, but were not impressed so were resigned to driving the wheels off our current Traverse. This new Traverse is really amazing. I hope they improved the reliability of the transmissions, it's the weakness of the 2nd Gen Traverse.

The new Trax is the template Chevrolet should set for their upcoming vehicles, and It seems the new Traverse is following in the same vein. Right now people want a well designed solid and reliable vehicle from Chevrolet that wont break the bank.

This thing is very close to a minivan. If they can make the 3rd row fold back rather than fold forward, it will be even closer. I really wish they can make the 3rd row minivan-like, which will make it more practical for a family ride.

Please stop promoting this as affordable. There's nothing affordable about a $40, 000 vehicle. Just because it's cheaper than some of the competition, doesn't make this affordable. Very few Americans can financially afford this vehicle.

Aerodynamic lowrider with a silly shark fin 3rd quarter body panel. Old or new 4Runner and or Honda Pilot have more testosterone than Chevy under Ibstra ever will. That's why GM stocks has be flat since 2016. Girl power, no bueno.

GM certainly has the looks, packaging and styling down. Reliability of the drivetrain in this application is the remaining big question mark. Probably best to wait a couple of model years.

i hope that turbo 4 can hold up over time. the sound of the 4 banger and the size just dont match, but these are different times. not bad looks wise tho
