The one thing missing from these reviews that I would like, is how the history of reliability is. People always say Toyota Tacomas are the best, so I would like to know if these newer trucks can compete on reliability without having them running for 10 years to find out. Im looking to purchase a truck this year, so far the Tacoma TRD is the top choice what am I missing? One last thing, what trucks can do a pay load of 1200 pounds without airbags or special shocks. I wish to put a camper on my truck. Thanks

The obvious comparisons, the Ram Rebel for sure, then the Tundra TRD Pro and the Titan Pro 4X would be good to compare too. Like those others, this doesnt seem to be in the same class as the Raptor, but Im thinking its price is probably very close to that of the Raptor. Im mostly wondering if the trucks price point feels justified compared to what Ford and Ram are offering/if its worth the premium over the Titan/Tundra. Looking forward to your review

I had a GMC dealer tell me they are going after the Raptor customers with this truck. I told him it looked to me like they were going after the Trail Boss customers. I mean if you want a GM why would you buy a Trail Boss when you can have the 6. 2L? As far as the Raptor I dont think the AT4 is in that league quite yet. Although maybe someone can buy one and jump it a few times, maybe run a high speed Baja and get back to us.

Alex. My question is about the ride as compared to the Silverado and the Denali. Several reviews have been critical of the base Silverado ride and say the Denali with the suspension changes is MUCH nicer. Is the AT4 a third style of these 3 or is it very similar to one or the other?

Difference between the GMC Sierra STL z71 and the at4. What is really added to the new at4. Im thinking its just a sales catch just some extra options you could add to a STL not looking to pay a chunk of change for something I could add to a SLT.

How does the engine handle 87 octane vs 91. The users manual says it recommends 91, but 87 works. How does it effect power, how does it effect mpg and is there any knock?
