With towing capacity over 35, 000 pounds and the first 10-speed automatic in the segment GMC has turned the tables on Ford and RAM. For the moment. Jack Benton: Im already sick and tired of seeing all this BS about this truck not having a REAL Allison transmission. Guess what people? GM has been building the Allison transmission that has gone behind their Duramax engines FROM DAY ONE Since 2001, the Allison transmission in GMs 2500 and 3500 trucks has been DESIGNED AND BUILT BY GM THEMSELVES All these idiots THINK that Allison was building the transmissions and sending them to GM to be put in the HD trucks, but that is NOT how it worked. When these transmissions were first designed, GM OWNED ALLISON TRANSMISSION (the company) So from the start, GM engineers have been designing these transmissions (GM sold Allison in 2007. So all of this time GM haters have been trashing GMs trucks while saying the only good thing in a GM truck is the Allison transmission (which everyone agrees is BY FAR the BEST of the Big 3s HD transmissions, while not being smart enough to realize that it has ALWAYS been a GM transmission with the Allison name on it. JUST LIKE BEFORE, this new 10-speed will be designed and built BY GM, but the design was approved by, and the final version was inspected and tested by, Allison, and they are allowing GM to put their name on it. By the way, this HD transmission has NOTHING to do with the 10-speed in the light duty trucks and cars that was designed by Ford and GM together, so GM is NOT just slapping the Allison name on a beefed-up version of the 10-speed transmission they already had.

More over priced plastic junk Still better looking than the other two but Im tired of cost being that of some peoples homes, most working class Americans cant afford 1000+ a month for a vehicle then full coverage insurance along with it. You can keep it, Ill put a new motor and tires on mine and put the money in my own retirement not theres

Wait a minute The biggest baddest truck GMC has EVER made? Have you never heard of a General Class 7 Tractor? That even came with a GM/Detroit Diesel 50T V12 Engine? That was Supercharged and Turbocharged With up to 18 speeds But what we have here is the biggest baddest PICKUP TRUCK GMC has ever built Ok roll the video.

That little bit of camera slight of hand is very interesting but it had me wondering how it might work with a 40+ 5th wheel trailer, for example? That would tend to obscure vision from the truck rearward. The next trick would be able to take an additional camera input at the rear of large trailers like that.

Theres no big rig anywhere in that truck. Proportions are completely different. For someone with a more factual based videos, I expect more from you than marketing nonsense. If they had big rig proportions, my big rig probably wouldnt get better gas mileage than those light duty trucks under load

I love the looks of the Denali dually but not crazy about the white 2500. And still the interior is still way behind other competitors. I just purchased a new platinum superduty and I could not be happier with it. If ur gonna spend that kind of money ya better get exactly what u want.

I like the looks of it. Ive never really been a GM fan, but they nailed it with this truck. It looks a lot better than the Silverado HD. You really cant go wrong with any of the HD trucks from Ford, GM, or Ram. Theyre all good. Its all preference in which one youd choose.

If only diesels were as reliable as they used to be before 07. Good looking truck, the Chevy Medium Duties are pretty sick too. If you can afford the long term maintenance & repair cost of the diesel complexities. this would be a sick truck

Too many guys cry about the interior. What the hell do you want then? Who needs a ginormous 12-inch screen? Everything Chevy offers is perfectly functional without overdoing it. I love it and am glad they kept it just like it is. It works.

The best truck would be (in my opinion) GMC exterior, ram interior with the Cummins engine and Allison transmission, on a Ford F-550 chassis. Now that would be a badass truck Lol.
