RL (X) gone. TSX gone. 2 out of 4 sedan line up is gone. TLX is combined between TL + TSX. they should of got rid of RL before it became RLX and move up TL and kept the TSX. i mean sedans are not selling well but there seems to be an issue when line up goes from TLX to ILX flagship and lowest model. just 2. although new design looks pretty good since 2004 TL, well done Acura, hope you come back to market with strong flavours! i miss my CL Type-S

I am a bit disappointed in this car's introduction. Acura has made it known that it is discontinuing the RLX, so this is the perfect opportunity for Acura to bring back the Legend name. The TLX did not create this brand, the Legend and Integra did. It is time to bring those names back to the Acura brand and the time for that renewal is now. Name this 2021 model the Legend. Do it. The time is now.

Hi Alex, the spec sheet revealed more about the type-s engine and trans. 3. 0L single twinscroll turbo, beefed up version of the 10 speed to handle the power (direct quote from acura) and the engine is said to make greater than 50% more torque than the 3. 5v6, interpolation puts that at just under 400ft/lb so we could very well see a >400hp engine.

I'm shopping the previous generation TLX right now, and it's hard to justify next to the 2015+ Hyundai Genesis (G80) and the Lexus ES/GS. Especially with the rough ZF 9-speed, which is rough even after Acura's software update. I'm glad Acura is stepping up, although all the center console dead space and gloss black are giving me pause.

Now that all the luxury and premium brands are using confusing alphabet soup based names, please bring back the Integra, Vigor, and Legend names to differentiate yourselves Acura. Also, it is true that certifying a manual transmission is expensive but making it an option that enthusiasts can buy would help offset some of the cost.

Acura got it right with the exterior styling and powertrains. I wish they had made the TLX smaller to complete more directly in the compact class, since the midsize class is struggling at the moment. Even with SH-AWD it will lack the dynamics of a RWD based layout. I'm a longtime Acura fan and I hope the TLX is a success.

Did anyone tell you that you don't have a personality Alex? If so, these people can suck it; you're one of the most interesting peeps on the web (and I am sure you're a hoot and a half in real life too. So you can burn that T-shirt or send it to folks who don't like you so they can shove it somewhere warm.

60% of weight over the front axle. FWD with on-demand AWD. Those are minivan specs. I bet it won t be able to handle 350+ hp without limiting torque in low gears. We know from RDX that Acura s engine output doesn t translate into any kind of performance advantage. This is a Camry TRD competitor.

Oddly enough, that instrument panel is no better than Honda Accord from first look, and the new safety features you mentioned are also already available for Accord. I think Acura needs more to convince people of NOT choosing Accord Touring 2. 0T lol. Only advantage is AWD?
