2024 Lincoln Nautilus First Look Lexus Should Be Worried

Lincoln just revealed the 2024 Nautilus in NYC! Lexus should be worried because this new Lincoln looks like the kind of roomy 2-row luxury SUV so many of us hoped the new RX would be. UPDATE: Lincoln's U. S. website does actually tell us everything we need to know about pricing. The base Premiere trim will start at 50, 415, the mid-level Reserve at 54, 750, and the top Black Label trim at 74, 465. A fully-loaded hybrid (+ 1, 500) will cost 83, 230. Jeff: I like the rear lights. They look like they're from a Q8. The China only new Zephyr has the same rear light design and looks like an A7.
Now, only if our new Nautilus would have rear ventilated seats like China gets. Major fail for a vehicle like this.

Not much to say on the vehicle but I have to say I m absolutely blown away by the consistent and completely unjustified negativity towards Brian in the comment section. It s really sickening. Like, I get that some people may prefer Alex s style over Brian s, but the disgusting and hateful things that some people seem to think is ok to say about anyone is really disturbing. Even if you don t like his style, there is zero excuse to insult his appearance, clothes, etc.
Personally, while I think Brian may have taken a little while to get comfortable in the position, he s been doing quite well in the videos recently, and I hope those in charge at AoA don t listen to the bottom feeders on the internet who make themselves feel better by trashing others.
I also find it interesting how many people who say hard pass to a car made in China when probably 90% of the things they interact with on a daily basis were either made in China or made out of things made in China. Most of the negative comments about China were probably made on a phone, laptop or tablet that was made in China. If you re gonna take a stand against a car made in China, 1) you probably should take a hard look at everything else in your house and 2) you might want to take a look and see where most of the components in your car were made.

It's crazy to see how so many of the cars unveiled this week are going to China first and then the US/Europe, which was unthinkable only a decade ago. Although it is the Shanghai Auto Show this week, the New York Auto Show was last week and Shanghai seemed to have significantly more unveilings, even amongst US OEMs.
Regarding the Nautilus, brand reputation is easy to lose but hard to earn. Lexus earned theirs by manufacturing reliable vehicles for 3 decades and inventing the luxury crossover with the RX. Lincoln doesn't have the brand reputation of Lexus and the Nautilus will not change that, even if it is better in every way, since it is made in China.
Look at the misalignment between the IP and door panel at 5: 08. I know it's a preproduction prototype but that is inexcusable if they are allowing media to sit in it. It's small details like these that illustrate why Lexus vastly outsells Lincoln in a nutshell.

The people who buy Lincoln and Buick crossovers are the type of people to think of themselves as patriots for buying a car from the big 3 American brands. I m guessing less than 2% of their buyers will actually look at the country of manufacture. Well played Lincoln.

No thanks I think I'll just keep my MKX. The 2. 7 l twin turbo is much preferred over the stuff that they're coming out with now. Giving up that much horsepower for a few more miles per gallon isn't worth it to me. Also why did they make it smaller?

No, don t like this at all. You can t call this true American Luxury because it is not built in the US. The interior looks cheap and very plastic. Materials look very uninviting. needs lots of chrome to look like true American luxury.

In the observable future, Lexus will not worrt as Lincoln can't match long term build quality. It's Ford and Ford sucks. Japanese suck too (hi, Nissan) - we're not in 90s anymore, but still better than any american brand.

Exterior is damn near perfect but that interior is just not it. Idk why manufacturers are starting to think luxury=giant overkill touchscreens, like it s good when it is done well but this is just overkill imo

I saw a Chinese Ford Fusion on the freeway yesterday in SoCal. It was actually a beautiful car. It s so weird how Ford s American-market cars are so downmarket compared to some of their Chinese ones.

Looks amazing but I'm not buying a vehicle built in China. Absolutely no way! Build it anywhere else and I would seriously consider this! It looks beautiful and that interior is amazing!

5: 06 - Look, I like what Lincoln is doing here but PLEASE FIX THE MISALIGNED PANELS ON THE DOOR AND DASH. I can't belevie that made it out of the design studio or factory.
reply

Exterior is great but no amount of gaslighting would make me like that all-screen interior
It will be interesting to see how the hybrid compares with the new RX500h.

Very eager for this to come out. Cadillac desperately needs to take notes. Also I'm extremely happy that they brought back the continental door handles.

I feel like I ve been waiting for the redesign for ages, and now that I see it, I m disappointed, especially with the lack of a PHEV option.
