I ve bought two new Acuras, and this car just disappoints me. Looks like the LCD cluster and the smaller radar are the only real improvements here. The main thing it needed was a touchscreen, but it s the same touchpad crap. Looks like the only way to get a heated steering wheel on a Type S in the U. S. will continue to have to be buying a whole new accessory steering wheel from the dealer, which is ridiculous for a feature that s been available from the factory for years on Canadian Type S. Sorry Alex, but the loss of the optional wheels from the factory is a big downgrade. They look so much better than the standard wheels. Now, getting them requires buying a whole extra set of wheels at parts counter prices, which almost no one would ever do. This car has always had goofy proportions with the long dash-to-axle AND the typical FWD front overhang. At least the optional wheels offset some of the goofiness. The bottom line is that this car remains full of giant compromises from exterior design to interior space and features.

Enough with these limiting fastback sedans. Needs to be/have been a sportback/shooting brake - from the start. More headroom, more utilty, no less/perhaps (I would argue) more sport. Continued missed opportunities - between this, the Integra and the Civic - all in a supposedly sedan-unfriendly market. is a puzzlement. Volvo, Porsche and a few others (different level but current Impreza comes to mind as well) have proven the wagon(esque)-- without calling it a wagon--sportback profile can be very sporty. with a dose of utility particularly for those averse to the crossover-SUVs

This a great looking car, and by all reports, a good driver too, but during recent round of test drives of all kinds of vehicles, that tight back seat was kind of a deal breaker for my family, while the Lexus ES was still very much on my list. And frankly, if I didn't need/want a roomy back seat, then I'd probably just spend my money on something that is also compact on the outside (as well as on the inside.

so people who don't want to pay luxury car prices for FWD now need to get an even more expensive and less comfortable A-spec trim. so basically they made it worse. ruined by horrible and greedy decisions
I don't like korean cars but the new 24 Genesis G70 with the new 2. 5T base engine detroys this. So does any other RWD based competitor.

Back when I was shopping I test drove the TLX/ ES/ CT5. I Ultimately chose CT5. Im Happy to see that acura finally added a digital gauge display, HUD, wireless carplay, and surround cameras but my CT5V already had it for the 2021 models.

You just see far more new 11gen Accord on the street than this TLX despite it went on sale a few years earlier.
TLX has too many strange compromises that makes it welcome to neither family shoppers nor sports car lovers

SH-AWD should be standard across the board at this point, especially if they are going to remove the base trim altogether. SH-AWD should definitely be standard on the RDX and MDX, which are SUVs for crying out loud.

TLX ruined the current gen Accord by Honda deleting the 2L Turbo engine from the Accord lineup so the TLX looked more attractive to buyer while extracting more money from buyers

Had I not needed to upgrade my vehicle in a hurry, I would have waited for the 24 model year. However, to me I m ok with my 23 TLX-S no need to upgrade.

This car should've been 400HP+ already, idk what Honda is thinking. Competition is too fierce in this segment to even consider.
