The first small vauxhall that looks right since the nova. But I want a road going rally car like the nova gte was or the 205 gti. Vauxhall, make a gte or an sr version. Or I'll stick to my chevette hs replica. Other than the current astra vxr vauxhall/opel are not as good as they used to be. Asconas, mantas, chevettes hs and hsr, kadett gt/e, nova gte. Bring them back.
By the way I am 20 years old so I'm not some whining old git who cant accept change. Change has just gone in the wrong direction.

Do we really care what these testers think of this car, it's all about personal choice and I'd buy one as they look very funky and fun to drive. We don't all drive at 100mph on open rds or like a rally driver on the daily commute. For sheer appeal, cheapness of running and ownership I'd buy one as my daily mount.

She lost me at the sight of her hipster driving shoes, and her remark about -the unusual name of the car-. Perhaps this test pilot should have boned up on her Opel history before reviewing the car. Dump her butt Autocar. She's terrible.

Every review struggels to get why it's called adam so here I go. It's called adam after the founder of opel, Adam Opel. And as many of you know (I hope) Vauxhall and opel are nearly the same only for some models.

That pixelated styling on the dash and the paint splash on the back end is just not right (disgustingly tacky imo, could have been a nice car. but with the rivals in mind, that car is an insult to the target audience.

I suppose the looks will appeal to some but it is too expensive. You can get a fiat 500 Abarth with delivery miles for around 13K & is much faster & a lot more fun.

It's a shame they didn't put the 1. 0 ltr turbo in all of them, as this 3cyl 115 hp engine with a six speed gearbox is a gem. Hard to find, but worth it
