Can it be driven on the Public Roads, is it capable of carrying four People and luggage, the answer is no, so. It-s not a Car as such, it-s just a Jet Engine attached to a fancy Go-Cart with a seat for the poor bloke charged with steering it, an amazing feat of technology but in the spirit of what landspeed was originally Road Cars with HUGE Engines this Vehicle is a new way to go fast on the ground. -

It's not really a car though is it? it's more of a JET ON WHEELS as people have said.
I personally hate it when people call stuff like this -Cars- because they downplay the people who use more normal means of propulsion to achieve just half of that.

I remember seeing and touching the two flags onthe lower front intake on press day. im sure if memory serves another 6mph and it may well have been extremely unstable. salad days! incredible achievements by the whole team.

There would be considerably less drag without the two seats on the side and the pilot just lay down inside of the engine. please don't correct me. He could wear a swimming cap and shave his hair off!

Funny how the run of the Thrust 2 seems to be more epic than that of the SSC. I know that the camera POV has everything to do with it. But this car just looks majestic.
