Hardcore Lotus GT4 racer tested to the limit on track Anders: I believe here in the US it's GTE not GTP and I know a team used to run an Evora GTE in the ALMS a few years back. I did a little research and as it turns out there was a GTP class in the ISMA WEC but that was back in the 80's and those cars were more closely related to Group C cars or modern Daytona Prototypes than the current GT classes of cars. I don't want to sound hypercritical I just wanted to point that out.

According to the Cosworth website, they build this engine in different specs, up to 495hp naturally aspirated. Air restrictors change output levels based on class. One hell of a motor!

I notice whine in a lot of race cars which are not present in the 'standard' production version of the car. Is this transmission whine?

I thought Lotus cars were supposed to be lightweight to begin with. 1100kg for a stripped version? Blimey its a fat porker
