Can Porsche\'s 911 Turbo S outrun a Formula 4 car? Paul: Haha. a race car vs a road car. the camparo was good and interesting to watch and all that's ridiculous is reading the comments from the viewers. Everyone knows they are oddly matched. It's like comparing Michael Schumacher to Mike Tyson. They are the greatest in their worlds similar to these cars. Respect that. The 911 turbo is always the king of drag strips. So if it want to be a worthy competition plant both these cars in a drag strip and you will see the exact same time difference with the 911 on top. That's the fact. if you want a fight let it be with a race car.
Oh I heard and saw a video that the Porsche 919 hybrid LMP1 car lapping quicker than a formula1 car in Spa. Hahaha(regulations matters.

LOL. this is an F4 car. This class is specifically tailored for first year race car drivers. namely young kart racers who have never even driven a race car. Sealed motors, sealed ratios, minimal adjustments, you can not even play with the dampers. (3) spring sets you can use. The next class up. F3. An F3 cars has almost 2x the HP (300-320, wider and grippier tires, and will go a LOT faster. In this track, and F3 car would lap in the 1: 05 range in the hands of a proper driver.

6s and this is a short track.
The formula 2. 0 200hp is similar to a race spec Porsche gt3 600hp/only 1200kg in track performance which is faster than almost any road legal car. The f4 has 185hp so only slightly slower
On a straight line it is limited because it has high downforce and consequently high drag, higher than the porsche that weights 3 times more. So more drag for an engine that has less than half the power.

Not enough is said about the fact that the F4 car weighs LESS THAN A THIRD what the Porsche weighs. 515kg vs 1605kg. That's a huge difference, especially when it has fat racing tires. The power to weight ratios are actually similar in these cars, but mass is mass, and a circuit with any turns in it is going to slow down the massive road car.

Open wheel cars beat everything, with low airdrag, very high downforce per body mass. The Porche would need massive wings (3 times bigger) to match downforce of the f4. A formula with 200hp and only -350hp/t is as fast as a radical sr8 that has more than 550hp/t and good aerodynamics as well.

I'd much rather have an F4 car to race around tracks for fun, and a safe and luxurious car for the road. Unless you're an idiot and willing to risk lives and your certificate, driving a 911/Ferrari/Lambo on the road is pretty much pointless.

Race cars cannot be compared with road cars cause both have different aims. race need to be just fast agile and good handling road cars needs ac, boot space, seats, features need for a family needs

isn't it and, not rwd? anyway whats next? I've been waiting, what about a 1mile drag between a eurofighter and a fiat panda? -Vehicle with no cylinders beats your car!

Much of the downforce of modern sports cars is added by weight.
I provoque you to drive a lotus exige s, and you will be terified.

Oh, mister, i'm afraid you got DSQ for what you did in that porsch in 5: 50 (video) or 1: 03 (lap time); ) Just like Verstappen; )
