Best sounding turbo engine I've ever heard! But I can't get over those huge ugly vents in the rear wheel arches. I know they're necessary for downforce and all that, but they ruin the styling of the whole car and will date quickly. Why couldn't they of come up with a more elegant solution like they did with the F12? They make the car look like some giant dog has come along and taken gashes out of it!
I like the colour of this test car though. From the video it seems to be Ferrari's traditional solid red, not the pearlescent seen on other test cars representing the company's range in recent years.

I expected the 488 to be fast, i expected to be a great driver's car and i expected it to sound great and be more fuel efficient, less CO2 etc. But what i didn't expect is that it only costs 10 000 quid more than the 458, i was expecting it to be around 230 000 not 180 000

Beautiful car! The new trend toward blown engines is a bit disconcerting to me. Too much heat, complexity and most important to me, lack of naturally aspirated linear throttle response. That said, I'd take one of these in a heartbeat. :-)

I really like Chris Harris and i usually think this chap is boring BUT! this review was pretty good! a lot more edgier and i like the fact the audio really blasted those new turbo chargers through my speakers!

NO! nonono this is so ugly. a mix of 458 and enzo ferrari. and turbo charged. Laferrari is so good but this one fails hard. It's not a new creative design, it's just some change of shape. OMG

2-frontface need to be slightly longer and down slope
3-wheels need to be bigger in font, wider in rear

The noise is amazing! You can hear the engine much better than in the Harris video, sounds great! Ferrari is really pushing the top every single time these days!

I love this review because it is crisp, to the point and -pure- without the gimmicks. The new Ferraris though (California T, 488) sound like they got castrated.
