This is a completely unfair comparison due to the bhp of the focus. YES THE CLIO has a far better chassis and will out handle Focus all day. All they have done is put a shit lot of power on a shit chassis for the focus, painted it mat black and put shit lots of worthless plastic on it. now that makes rs ford fans slober and get a boner then go pay silly money for a Ford.
If the clio had another 50 bhp it would be bye bye in in ya focus. The clio has an amazing history with race development so where is the focus cup races lol be a shit show. The focus looks like it crashed into halfords and drove away.
Race the focus against something in the same price range and see how good it is then
Or give the clio same power to wieght cus be bye bye foocus

I-d much rather take the car that revs to 7500rpm and has very close ratio gearbox. Having said that I-ve got one on my drive; a -factory cup- Renaultsport Clio 200 in Glacier white.
It-s the best car I-ve ever owned and I-ve had Saph Cosworths, An Evo 6, early classic WRX-s, and 480hp Fiat coupe, Focus RS-s, Westfields-s and M3-s
There is somethings about these little cars. If you live near loads of motorways and in a disgusting city or town perhaps it-s not the best choice. If however you are lucky enough to live in the country with the Lake District in one direction and the N Yorkshire moors in the other and have amazing B roads to enjoy like me, there really isn-t much this side of a Caterham that-s as much fun, and you won-t get wet!

While I dont deny that Renault have made another cracking hot hatch, as aforementioned, this car should be tested against a fiesta, the megane should be tested against the focus. For all the people who bought a normal focus rs brand new, they have lost almost no money when you take Vat into account, the rs500 is even better with used prices still at 35k, whats a clio or megane gonna be worth in 3 years 60-70% less than new rrp, if you can afford the ford even now, buy it so much better!

clio is a great car(ugly but good. It can compared to close turns tracks like this one on the video with his big brother megane 265. So the only reason the choose to compare the little guy with the focus rs500 is just to make focus look expensive. Also clio cup200 do similar times to courses like this with clio 182. In this tiny track even a saxo vts120 could be close to them

This 5 cylinders sounds so great: D But the clio is faster on tighten roads, that's why the clio R3 are very good in rally, very goad chassis, very good engine and light car

you will need 2 clios in the time you have the focus, because it will fall apart twice as fast, the interior is crap and the doors sag as well.

that-s not a fair compairing a 5 cylinder turbo and a 4 cylinder atmospheer engine. i still take the clio handels much beter than de ford.
