but isn't a big part of owning a GTR of any era and always has been the fact it tunes so well? yes there are ferrari's that will outperform a GTR but thats not the point, what makes these cars appealing to me personally is the fact with little effort you can get the engine running over 700bhp, easily putting it back into supercar slaying territory, spend a little more and your see 900bhp+

Just wrong about acceleration. For a good 0-60 time you've to shed a good quality of fuel, turn off the ESC, get the car to a similar level of sea level and etc. In my opinion, 3. 2 at Spa is great enough. Spa is very far above the sea level, ESC is on and there's lot of negative wind for the car. So that's why it's just 0. 5 sec slower.

If we only wanted to watch a guy talk about numbers we would just grab a spec sheet. This 'review' contains almost no driving impressions and only talks mostly about 0-60 times. It would've been no problem if the video was titled 'How Fast is the New GT-R? '.
Not hating, just some honest criticism.

You don't seem to understand that ALL official 0-60mile times are done with a 1 foot rollout. Also they are done at perfect temperature, perfect surface conditions. If a manufacturer claims 2. 8, the real number is 3, to 3. 1 in perfect conditions, so real life situation its more like 3. 3-3. 5

So you took 4 minutes to tell me that it's fast, but not as fast as its more expensive rivals. pretty sure that could have been summed up much quicker, and you could have told us more about how the updates have changed how the car feels; which would have been far more informative.

I think we are coming up to a point in history where cars can't get any faster. How do you improve on 0-60 in 3 seconds or less and is that even something you'd want for the streets. In 40 years Supercars will be going from 0-60 in 1 second or less? haha technology is insane.

The reality is, the claimed numbers are made in near perfect conditions, for all manufacturers. In the really world, the GT-R is probably more reliably faster to 60, because of its all wheel drive traction, and short gearing.

it's true that rivals are now faster now (488, huracan, 650s etc) but considering it's weight and size, I still think GT-R is super fast for what it is.

my bet is that the next model will def make as much press as the r35 did when it was just launched. Nissan always has something up their sleeves

2017 refinements make the GT-R look more modern, aggressive and amazing. GODZILLA will still be king! Dream Car! saving up my deposit.
