Sound is good, but most certainly muffled and with none of the high-rpm race car engine personality and excitement of the old naturally aspirated engines. While I would still go with the newer turbo engines just on power alone, I would expect Porsche, of all brands, to be able to figure out how to get more quality engine music out of their turbo engines. That said, while this is my favorite sports car of all, I still think all new 911's MSRP are easily 20-25% overpriced and the massive immediate depreciation on these demonstrates the same. That said, the 992 is easily the most beautiful 911 in a while thanks to those massive rear fenders now standard fare, and I can't wait to hopefully pick one up in 4years as a CPO if I'm able to.

The complaining is directly correlated to the breeding of entitlement from the Internet. Perhaps a world war would reset value systems when people must worry about rampant violence, raping & looting instead of whether they will have soy or brown sugar in their morning latte.

Poorly informed commentator. If all 911s are wide body, they-ll all be like the Turbo. No, all non -Turbo- models are now on a Carrera 4 body, which was wider than the Carrera 2 body. The Turbo body is even wider than the Carrera 4 body.

Drives me crazy to see all the exterior shots of a red car and the interior shots are in a yellow car. That yellow mirror jumps out at me every time they switch from an exterior to an interior shot.

What a great evolution to the 991, & Matt Prior is as technical & sharp as they get! My best friend has just purchased a brand new 991 Carrera T, & what a brilliant vehicle that turned out to be!

Like the reviewer, but how can you make a review sound interesting for a car that has hardly changed in 25 years. I can-t believe that Porsche have got away it for so long.

Could you be any more generic? This review could've been of the 991, 991. 2, 992 or even the next generation 911. Most of the comments were ambiguous and vague.
