As well as being 5 metres long it's very W I D E as it's piloted down a typical English B road at 1: 40 it just about manages. The Taycan's biggest enemy is White Van Man trying to get home in a hurry, coming the other way! Wonderful to hear that less expensive evolutions of the model make more sense (at least on some level. Perhaps Porsche might like to evolve their electric offerings the opposite way to their ICE alternatives. i. e. bring out the GT2 and GT4 equivalent ranges first (for those with the deep wallets) and then evolve the range into less powerful offerings. now that would be a departure from convention! I hope in the fullness of time Porsche will bring out a tinier, narrower evolution to the Cayman that we can actually squeeze down out B roads without straddling the opposite lane.

Electric cars are getting a lot better now that Tesla isnt the only one in the race. Teslas just seem so one trick in comparison (blistering acceleration) Hopefully other car makers wont follow Teslas example of filling the car with pointless features like dancing and having video games built in, all that is tacky in the extreme.

Good to see the Teslarati are commenting on how Model S is the better car. Apart from let's see Build Quality, Paint Quality, Residual Value and reliability. And these are Elon Musk's words not mine--. Not to mention imo the Taycan is better looking than the now old and boring looking Model S.

UK's B-road is Houston's (USA) A-road. Having said that, the Taycan is a car for middle age hipsters with money. It's a good poser and talking piece for a few minutes at a party before the convo switches topic. I mean even this very review didn't sound all too enthusiastic about the car.

Well they've dropped the price by 60% so it should sell some examples. Still doesn't compete with Tesla 3P overall but it looks the part.
Speaking of which, maybe dress up with black pants and white shirt and shave for this video. Not that style faux pas.

Is this the best elec car for sale? Hmm, I'm gonna say NO when you can buy a model 3 performance for significantly cheaper and it would be faster, lighter, awd, more rear legroom, more range. lol. I dont even understand the title of this video.

Imagine how dated this will be in 2-3 years. I have a feeling cars are going to become very expensive subscription services. No one will want to own one if they don-t retain value. Better to reuse the batteries in new cars.

Right there with you on that one. The simplest way to improve performance and handling is to reduce weight. And suspension improvement is often more beneficial than engine improvement for road use.
