Probably the car that I disliked most of my Fords was the Pinto, it was slow and thirsty, and quite heavy. Like nearly every other Ford that I owned, though, it was reliable.

AHH back in the golden years of Ford, I remember them well. great to see the little XR2 (I owned three) unfortunately all that's gone out of the window these days. take the decision to stop producing the Cosworths many moons ago. Take the more recent decision ending the Focus RS. More recently take the EcoBoom engine (I owned an '11 Zetec-S. Then inspite of all of these decisions, my own personal experience when a local Ford dealership doesn't want to work on a recalled vehicle, makes excuses and when forced to do it, deliberately f-ks it up. Hoping the Ford brand would rectify the situation and pull it's rouge dealership back into line. I found I was completely wrong, the Ford of today, backs its dealerships and f--ks the individual consumer. The lesson here I've learnt is I won't buy another Ford ever again.

Ford will always be my favorite. My first one was a mercury blue escort mk4, a 1. 4l bravo edition with RS-trim. It was my dad's car before he gave it to me. After that I bought a black RS Turbo which will remain as my favorite car I ever owned. Yes, even more than the Impreza Turbo I had. Several friends owned Ford's too, like a Fiesta XR2i, Escort mk5 RS200, a Capri, Escort Cosworth. Such fun we had!

I had 5 escorts and 3 capris. Wish I had 'em now. And you don't have a classic now to cane it to death. They should be driven yes, but with respect. My last was a Crusader Cortina which was smashed up by three lovely young scrotes who tried a cash for crash claim. THEY LOST!

Happy memories. I had a 2. 8 Capri, it terrified me in the wet. but what a soundtrack from that v6 beast. Can't imagine how much that 1986 Capri would be worth today!

I owned the very first mk2 capri. It was a 3. 0ltr GHIA. It was a beast and great fun to drive. Wish i could buy something like that nowadays
