Porsche 911: Auto Express celebrates 50th anniversary of Porsche icon aydinvideo: Lovely film and very nice to watch you enjoy all generations of 911. My personal fav. is the 993 911 turbo S, and the RUF variants on it. (and dont forget the amazing gemballa kits they had back in the day) That was my dream car as a youth, and I'd still very much like one today. The classic burgendy / merlot red colour it was painted, in all the print ads of its day still look like one of the cleanest designs ever IMO.

I remember reading his column and he said he considered buying a 996 after driving it on the Autobahn. He's not a big fan of the 911, but his opinion may be exaggerated on TV because that's what we like to see.
