Aston Martin Vanquish Volante review - Auto Express TheMegaCONARTIST: I did not think it would effect Aston rather than Maserati, knowing that Aston in my oppinioin is an amazing brand and its car productions are fantastic and have lot more want factor than Maserati, but i guess it all comes down to control of it all. Even that it has great support from other as mentioned in this video, i heard they are cutting much more and quantity is overtaking the quality, great ideaology? lets wait and see, but for me it will always remain one of the most beautiful cars ever.

Engines and power-trains are especially expensive and time consuming to develop, and new regulations and requirements add to that cost yearly. Going with the tested and proven power-trains from AMG removes that cost and allows Aston-Martin, Pagani, and others the freedom to focus their efforts on what they do best; the Car.

same short guy with shorts is annoying. we know manufacturer like AM is very happy with you. Please drive in a dignified manner WHEN IT COMES TO -Dressing-. AM owners are top notch with their wardrobe and wear armanis REACH TO THOSE STANDARD OR ASK FOR A RAISE!

Aston Martin needs to sell more small mainstream cars like Porsche did the Boxster and Cayenne. I would suggest using a Mustang 5. 0 engine tuned to 450hp in a refreshed Vantage coupe and dropping the price down to 80k and make a 5 seat sedan version as well.

Well luckily we are apparently gonna get some AMG engines in the future. Fitting a Mustang engine in an Aston would be putting the whole Aston brand value at risk IMO - And that has nothing to do with power or any other logical reasons.

Very unique, very special, though this is not the prettiest redesign, it has incredible desirability. I'll take the coupe over this anytime. And that sound. Aston make the nicest sounding exhausts. Vantage V12S for me, personally.

the only differences
vantage - DB9 tail lights n wider shorter vanquish headlights
DB9 - same tail lights with number plate at the center and vanquish
headlights
vanquish - red DB9 tail lights and same head lights with DB9

What is this, are you censoring my comments? Here it goes again:
Don't apologise for the background noise, apologise for the silly shorts, and this is not the first time. Show some class please.
Nice Aston though.

Well the host's very first sentence answered your question. Not enough funds to design or develop a proper, ALL new Aston. But when they do have the cash, the One-77 comes into the picture.

This company will fold, 150M is nothing toward designing new models; shame beautiful car; Ford might but it back, or perhaps the new owner of Jaguar: Land/Rover he has plenty of cash.
