Recently traded in my E250 cdi sport saloon for a 520d m sport saloon and I must say, BMW is a far better car in cabin styling & comfort. It was deafening travelling in the Merc on the motorway whilst road noise in the Beema is not as bad. I've always preferred BMW & owned the Beema E46 and E39 over the years & opted for a Merc as Beema were experiencing the horrendous timing chain issue but the model I've just bought is the revised engine so fingers crossed

You can't compare the E-class and 5-series with pros and cons, since the main reason behind every choice is down to the brand. For me the E-class is just about as perfect as a car can be, and no matter how many numbers you show me I can't be convinced to buy the BMW. And I bet all you BMW boys are sitting with exactly the same feelings.

vote for BMW for sure. same feeling in all series that's why it's call series. the bigger series j have its bigger confidence. personally I drive 550i. it's aggressive fast brutal executive and for sure very first safety. highly highly recommend for all drivers.
at the and it's an Ultimate machine.

this guy did not cover the best things of the e class, e. g the rear seats, the ride and much more. The drive actually is great and you get decent economy from the e350d which is fast aswell. The merc is definitely better and I'm not being biased here

nop at all are u kidding as the Mercedes looks nice simply without choosing the amg sport package, but bmw has the m sport which it cost a lot so yeah I would chose the Mercedes instead of bmw since it has lower fuels so yeah: /

New benz look more premium. Old benz look like uncle car. But on 2012. Mercedes had changed the look. Thank gods. I see benz and bmw face to face. Hmm benz now look more premium than bmw. But 2 cas masive maitaince

I am looking to switch from my e90 328i to either f30 335 or f10 535.
Tested 2013 535i with the M-sport package and got to tell you it felt like Camry in the corners. Far from ultimate driving machine

Lol the 5 series should have been put up against the s class not e. e class is between the 3 & 5 series in my eyes. If he would have compared the s class to 5 series it would be a whole other ball game!

only one who owns both can really tell the difference. i owned an e90 before i want to buy a e class to see the difference but its not as attractive as the bmw. ans something tells me ill regret it.
