NEW Porsche Taycan GTS Sport Turismo review: the ULTIMATE electric driver\'s car? SixPotShot: still 1 boring 1 porky 1 dimensional 1 trick over priced car. It bothers me not a bit if it is the latest or slowest car on earth. These characterless appliances have a role to play but not in sport. These things will make us all end up paying road usage tax for every mile driven. damp your enthusiasm before it is too late as the taxes will come from us all in the end. as they always do. and electricity prices have just one way to go: up even more so with all these clueless governments. Also if you charge home it takes hours. if you charge away then it is not anymore that cheap and you also become a prisoner of a network that seems to me put up by Machiavelli and that is when it works. Pretty much rubbish material. Keep out

'very few people are going to take a Taycan to tracks' - very few people can afford a Taycan period.
This EV maybe super whizzy, but most mere mortals have no chance of buying this. We're going to be looking at having to buy something due to legislation changes and ours are going to be a rocking chair on wheels.

I had a 991. 1 GT3 as a daily drive for 6 years. 3 months ago I switched to a Taycan Turbo. I was worried I would miss the drama and excitement of the GT3 but truly this thing is utterly brilliant and I love it. I will never regret owning the GT3 but the Taycan is a really special thing and there is no going back for me.

Porsche has done something with this EV that no other car manufacturer has really nailed, and that's making the car cool. I don't look at this car and think that they've tried too much to make it look futuristic. it does have some different features but nothing that takes away from just how damn beautiful this car is.

Alter watching Steve driving many sports cars, including a very nice video of a 2015 Cayman GTS, I feel he is not being himself on this. It seems like an add. Nothing wrong with the car, but as good as an EV can be, it just doesn-t have the feeling and connects with your senses as a combustion engine sports car.

I-ve heard horrible news on the recalls and the battery warranties. Unless they get it sorted, its a nice looking pile of junk. Also no OTA updates, you need to go to the dealer. Lots of promises, better to look at the fine print before buying IMO.

Reassuring! Deposit is already down on this car but I was nervous about changing from my Panamera 4S. Given the variety of cars you have experienced its great to hear that the drive is so enjoyable.

I want that car. But also this car with the ability to fill it up in 5minutes and go 600km until the next stop, guess that won-t happen for a long time unfortunately.

There is nothing exciting about a battery. I've driven every kind of Porsche there is except for the 918. Sorry, batteries do nothing for the enthusiast.

I love your Job Steve
Would you be interested to swap it with mine?
By the way, I-m a London Black Caby
Still you-re going to drive daily - -
