I have a 2007 Dodge Hemi, Ive had problems with my left blinker for a while. I usually just change the bulb and it fixes the problem. The bulb went out the other day, went to replace the bulb, and it didnt work. Ended up replacing the module if you will that the bulb plugs into the then plugs into the wiring harness. And that fixed the problem for about 2 days. Yesterday the left blinker started blinking faster again. (Like it usually does better i replace the bulb. Question is, what would be making the left blinker keep going out even after i have replaced both bulb and module.

Just watched this one as an avid viewer of all the current releases. It is really great to see how your camera craft has grown with experience and confidence. This was not a bad video as the practical element is spot on and valid. Your newer stuff retains the robust technical content and is now enhanced by your much more natural personal style which turns your stuff into quality entertainment. I get really excited when I see a notification come up for a new video. And I would venture that you now actually enjoy presenting a lot more now than you did 5 years ago. You da man!

I think that with the left turn signal wire shorted to the running lights wire that all four of the running lights filaments were flashing when the left signal was on. You wouldnt notice the running light flashing on the left side because the turn signal filament is brighter. But I would think that if you looked closely at the bulb youd be able to see that both filaments were flashing at the same time.
Edit- I went back and watched the bulb closeups and couldnt see the left marker flashing. Dont know why not.

That's am awful way to bring put the 4 wire dongle
I hope that isnt factory
But the harness almost looks like it is
I wouldn't be too quick to eliminate the 4 wire as who knows what kind of trailers a truck needs to pull
But what I would do is replace the 6 pin receptacle with on that integrated the 4 pin receiver along side and get it out from under that truck

I have the exact same problem didn't realize it until I tried to install a aftermarket LED strip but my right did not work correctly with the lights off but work with the lights on the right side but I cut the plug and it is still doing it any idea what it could be yours is the closest diagnostic that I have came to it's driving me nuts

Great video! I just hope everything goes well with my search having the same issues. Little different situation, dog chewed the wire harness under the truck and I need to know what colors the wires are for the turn, service lights and break lights as well as reverse. No color codes available on google as usual.

Amazing. Great troubleshooting and painless fix. I have a very similar problem. I'll check the trailer lights plug first! I also have a battery/alternator/pcm issue. Which led me here as indicator lights are sometimes the cause. 2004 Ram 1500. Thank you for your videos

Thanks Professor Eric Of South Main Auto. My Left turn and Break on my 03 Ram 3500 with Flat bed not working since I pulled a Pop up camper. I will not unplug just the wire harness for the trailer plugs and leave the Bed harness connected. Wish me luck

Saved me face on almost replacing a multi function switch. It was turning on my washer as well. Looked in the back same mess of wires tore the masking tape off the loom/wires. sure enough the tail lights started working prefect and the washers
