Thanks for sharing this video! I am not going to attempt to change mine, but your video gives me an understanding of what needs to be done on my 2004 minivan. The mechanic said the noise isn't coming from the muffler but rather the rear end right bearing. He quoted me 386. I researched online for mechanics near me and his estimate seems to be reasonable.

This video emphatically answers our colleagues outside the Rust Belt, about why Eric is always hammering on things. They leave comments about how he should not be hitting the front bearing, or ball joint, or whatever. But in this case there is no part pressed into another. That old part is clinging to a flat steel surface, _really_ hard by rust alone.

Thank you for making a video that talked about and showed all the steps. even the simple ones. and for creating a video that was in focus and well-lit and you could see what's going on. and for explaining all the steps and not added an extra commentary that has nothing to do with the video. excellent job you just saved me a few hundred dollars today

I had a brake job 8000 miles ago and everything went fine the other day I go the burning brake pad smell, I took it back and they said that the hubs were rusty and they did all 4 wheels like this video for 276 dollars, I'm wondering if they should have done this with the original brake job? Your thought please, My van has 158 thousand on it.

Thank you for sharing your knowledge with me. If I lived closer you would get all my repair business. I especially appreciate the comments (obviously learned from experience) on things to watch for. You have saved me from several frustrating mistakes.
This is a gift. You didn't have to share your knowledge. I thank you for it.

Do you think there is any connection between having the brakes done and a wheel bearing failing a few weeks later?
You hit those rotors a couple times and they popped off. I have witness them having to hit mine many times more than a couple. That has to be hard on the bearing.

Good video, with the exception of two issues. The calipers should always be supported, with a piece of mechanics wire, and not left to hang like that, on any brake related job etc. Also, an under carriage wash should
have been performed, before this job began.

Just finished replacing both front hub assemblies on my '12 Grand Caravan. First time even thinking about a job this big. Scary stuff. But If you can do it, I can do it. And I only had to re-watch this video about 8 times. Thank You Eric!
