42: 50 I will never forget the day I was at the shop and a Honda Civic pulled up with steam billowing out of the front grill and out from under the hood. I went up to greet the guy and ask him what I could for him (assuming that he was coming in right away after noticing the steam from the very obvious coolant leak he had. He wanted his free washer fluid top-off and nothing more. I said Sir, are you aware of the steam that's coming out of the engine bay? You have a serious coolant leak right now. He said Yeah I know, I just want that washer fluid for now. I put on my burn glove and popped the hood, and I could immediately see the top tank of the radiator was cracked and spewing steam and coolant. I topped off the washer fluid and asked him if he wanted a quote real quick on replacing the radiator. He declined. This was summer in god damned Tucson, Arizona and this guy drove away in that car with no care in the world. I was speechless. The way some people prioritize repairs/work is really whacky. I understand that the washer fluid was free and maybe he couldn't afford the rad at that time, but he didn't even want a quote. He was totally not concerned.

I enjoy watching your videos for years but I have to let you know that you made a mistake on this one. My opinion to replacing related parts, while your in there is to save the owner time and money of replacing those parts in the near future. Not replacing the O-ring for the part that you did replace is highly unusual and brings me to question you why? The o-rings cost pennies if not a few dollars. right? They are wear and tear items that will harden over time and will lose its seal. The customer will have to pay you or someone else to remove the front end to replace o-rings all over again for what? example: replace condensor=1. 0dg, 1. 4 evac/chg ac, 3. 0 r/r condensor=5. 4 hrs or 540 100 per hour plus part 300, to replace the o-rings in two years she will have to pay 1. 0dg, 1. 4 evac/chg, 2. 5 hours to r/r front bumper/condensor fittings again=4. 9 hrs=490 in labor and 3. 00 in parts! Your customer will not respect you and will not return at that point. Not worth that two minutes and 3 or less in parts.

Chrysler junk. I know I have one. Inlaws gave it to me and the wife. Damn thing has been a problem for over 2 years. About to get it registered, inspected (AGAIN, and then put the POS up for sale. Tired of dealing with. If I can get a grand out of it I'll be happy. 500 to the wife, 500 for me to invest.

Not condenser related, but our 2004 caravan has an external trans cooler between the condenser and radiator. The rivets corroded and the thing started bouncing and rubbed a hole in the radiator. So keep an eye on your dodge vehicle.

As a customer I would replace anything that's not operating at manufacturers spices. even replace possible radiator leaks why go back in again twice. Doctors wouldn't do that. They would do right first time.

I really like the good work you do and the good explanation of everything. Could you tell me how to get those Toptul tools or from where? And what type of ac leak detector tool you have? Thank you in advance.

A long time ago I tested and calibrated compound refrigeration systems (Propylene over Ethylene). for ic chip manufacture. Excellent video we used to chase the odd molecule for 24 hours

Understand why people rag on Chrysler products but honestly once it's been wrecked and repaired, and bathed in salt, all bets are off on quality. Issues are not the manufacturer's fault.
