This seems to be one of Hondas most pi poor designs ever. The under designed four speed
automatic transaxle in our 2000 Navi is worse.
The roller appears to be a piece of steel without any bearings whatsoever. Would it be possible to replace the roller with a roller bearing? Getting the correct shaft inner diameter and correct outside diameter might be difficult.
I believe the replacement will eventually fail. Just like the three replacement transmissions that went into my Wifes Odyssey.
This was our fourth and last Honda. I will never, ever, own anything made by Honda again.

I did the timing belt on my neighbors 04 civic after the dealer screwed it up, yes the Honda dealer did a few months before and didn't even use a Honda timing belt, everything was good then a week later the money light came on, it was an oxygen sensor, guess who's fault it was? The odds are uncanny that something totally unrelated happens and the mechanic gets the blame, after you fixed my car my dog died what did you do?

Home Depot sells cotton gloves with textured rubber coated palms. Makes sliding this style of taillight housing off a breeze. Especially if they have never been removed before. I was adding trailer wiring to my 2015 Hyundai Tucson and couldnt get the housings to budge. Took it to the dealer and they wanted 100 labor to remove both taillights. Said no way and went home and found the rubber coated glove trick on YouTube.

Thanks to you Mr O. Yesterday I replaced the EGR valve on a 2010 Dodge journey with a V6. I have a hand held engine diagnostics device that I used to troubleshoot. I can't control stuff with it but other than that it does a lot of other fancy stuff.
You should be nicer to your wife she looks like a sweetie pie

To keep the c-clip from going into low earth orbit just put some electrical tape over it, going over/under the part an inch or two.
Make sure you press the tape hard into the clip & when you use the pic obviously dig through the tape, but only a small hole.
That little bastard ain't going anywhere.

Watch an SMA for very very long time why is it that you just replace the part that wasn't broken on your wife's van that has a lot of other things that are broken? Just so everybody knows I threw my back out 4 days ago so I've been watching SMA for 4 days anybody feel bad for me yet keep up the good work

A lot of times the major repair on these doors is minor. Before doing anything check the rubber bumper on the back of the top rail. If it is gone the doors will fail to shut right and not close properly. A 21. 00 dealer part can save you hundreds in hinges, motors, etc.

I watched another video about this hinge and the guy that took the door off seemed easy I think it was three bolts. It drops down though so he put it on some kind of bench. Although I did not watch the end where he put the door back on by himself
