Great vid as always however just wondering if you would recommend to your customer to replace the inner axle seals while you have everything apart would seem a shame to have them leak within a thousand miles and then have to pay again for the labor costs to get down to the removal of the axle shafts. I know its a bit of work to pull the diff and change them but your 2 thirds of the way there. Mine were done once under warranty (2007 Dodge 3500 duelly) and are good at the moment but I need to do brakes and ball joints so I was going to do the axle u joints and wheel bearings while I have it apart and am thinking I should do the inner seals as well just wondering what your thoughts were on this?

I'm into my 1st foray of the Dodge suspension on my 2006 3500 Crew cab dually 5. 9 L bought last year in 2019 I'm maybe 3rd or 4th owner 233K on ODO when I bought it. This video was very beneficial, I see you using a 20V HF impact 1/2 drive or 3/4, and this being almost 2 years after this video was 1st posted how is that tool holding up, I've seen some saying the Milwaukee is better, I get it if I was working professionally, but as a weekend warrior mechanic with infrequent need, hard to justify 99 for a Milwaukee kit.

I had to change mine on my 95 Dodge 3500 and I tried all the Utube tricks to bust the hub off of there but I ended up buying a puller made in that virus effected Country over there but it did work but it was still hard pulling the hub off even with the tool. And I have a question how is the front axle engaged my 95 had a vacuum pod on the right side axle for 4X4 engagement?

I have a 2008 3500 and I feel shimmy in the steering wheel. I found the bearing at the axle housing has play. The right side u joint & upper king pin have been replaced before I bought the rig. The left side looks good for original and 129, 000 original miles. I've put on about 15, 000. miles

I would say it isn't a boring video. I have a low tolerance and I'm easily distracted from something that is boring. I've been watching this all the way through from part 1. So keep beating things up with big nasty! By the way is that an Ingersoll Rand?

Awesome video. Do you have to use a press or can you use the same tool that is used to remove a ballpoint? OTC and when you mentioned about locking the 4WD. So you have to turn on the 4wD before starting any work? Does it matter? Thanks.

I ALWAYS grease up my truck. Where there is a grease zerk it gets greased. If people can do an oil change themselves they can grease there truck. Most dealerships that do oil changes never grease anything!

Loved the vid, next time you have to do wheel bearings or brakes on a 09-18 Hemi 1500 make a video. Im positive I can do it on mine when the time comes, but still like that extra bit of knowledge beforehand

I replaced my u-joint on the passenger side of my 2011 ram 3500 and everything went together fine but my service four-wheel drive and ABS light came on, how do I fix it and why did it come on?
