Hi Eric, Your 4425 is hanging on the bonnet catch, are you using the blue usb 3-0 cable as mine is only about 3ft long and as it's usb 3-0 its like a stiff hose! Is the one you are using a 3-0 or have you just used the standard usb 2-0 lead as they can be much longer and a lot more flexible. The usb 3-0 is a much faster data transfer but when would you need faster data than a usb 2-0?
What thermometer is on the battery? Thanks

I have a question about scan tools I am also a tech and am going to begin branching out on my own I have seen you use the otc the autel and Ivan has used the launch the verus is out of the question based on cost I will primarily be focusing on American and Asian not a fan of eurotrash which tool would be beneficial in your opinion. I thank you in advance and wish you and yours a happy New year!

I've been using carbon pile testers and they work pretty good if the battery is properly charged and warm. However I've been scratching my head as to how to test the three 12V AGM batteries for the boat. Nobody seems to know how to test those. By chance, within the testing algorithm for pico, do they offer a diagnostic option for AGM batteries?

which would you be most apt to buy in order.
Ford or Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep/FCA or GM?
Basically i'm trying to see which you find to be the best to worst out of the big 3

Thanks Eric O. I have been watching alot of your videos in the last few weeks and I wish we had a shop close to me that is as well equipped and proficient at diagnostics as you are. I try to do as many of my own repairs as possible and would love to have a pico but just can't justify the cost at this time.

Thanks for posting videos on pico, it is an awesome tool that I probably don't use enough. Just this test alone makes this tool worth the money. Midtronics testers are very pricey and basically only do one job. For a bit more pico gives you a great tool with great versatility. Thanks again Eric

Is there a reason you don't connect the pico to the Verus? I have a Verus edge and I connect my alignment machine to it so I don't need a cabinet since it's Bluetooth. I plan on getting a pico for my shop and connecting it to my Verus. To me it would be more convenient than a laptop.

I remember standing in a classroom when Danner told me he just picked up this new pico brand scope to use for class and all these years later PICO has become Extremely popular in the professional automotive world. I'm glad to see it! Such a fast bod rate and the detail is great!
