Come along as we do some much needed repairs on this 2005 Honda CRV. It includes replacing the rear wheel bearing, front pads, calipers and rotors and it also gets a new set of tires! The tire video also has some bonus footage so be sure to check that out

I just finished putting my rear bearing on my 05 Honda element only to take it for a cruise and the brand new bearing is still humming. So on YouTube I've been sitting for 49 minutes to figure out what I did wrong I think I didn't put the hub in all the way. Tomorrow I'll rip it all apart again. Loved the tool shout out at the end I've been on Amazon buying some of them for the project to make it easier. You forgot the most important tool of the video. hoist lol wish I had 1 thanks for making this video it's helped me a lot. I'm in Ontario so I feel your rust belt pain.

Great job you done. Im not a mechanic, but I got a question if you would like to answer it.
A CV join on the front shaft of a 03 jeep liberty got bad cause it a grinding noise. What I don't understand is the reason the shifter linkage cable got loose off the transfer case and the wires of the position control switch burnt out melting their insul insulation. Could be the alternator the culprit?

hey so i just had this job done on my 05 CRV at a shop and now my abs light is on along with a VSA light, and the little exclamation mark with the triangle light in the dash. mechanic says he broke the abs sensors and that why the lights are on. is he being honest with me or is this what would happen if you put the bearing in backwards? TIA

I enjoyed watching this video, because I thought that I was the only one who got the really hard jobs, and other, younger mechanics got the easy stuff and charged more money than we could justify.
And by the way it was not toe end you were moving, it was camber.

Watched dozens of your videos, and I still can't believe the patience you have with rusted fasteners.
I'd have cracked the shits, grabbed the oxygen torch and hacked half the car to bits by then hahaha!

Just an observation, work is great guide but it would be more nicer if you change that thin brakeshoe to avoid work repetition. hehe. Over-all video is great. Thanks!

Do you have a video on the rear wheel bearing job for Lexus RX300? Do the rear wheels for that car have the camber bolt as well as this Honda CRV?
