South Main Auto Repair LLC I am having an extended cranking issue when the engine is cold with my 2002 Regal LS it cranks for 4 seconds then itll start but somedays it will start fine but some other days it stumbles on me when I start it I did change the spark plugs at 89, 000km I replaced the fuel filter, fuel pressure regulator, cleaned the throttle body cleaned the idle air controller even cleaned the mass air flow sensor in this case it still has a hard time starting sometimes it has an extended crank then itll start but as I said somedays itll start just fine I would really appreciate if you can give me advice my other guess is the crank sensor & the starter is a little weak so my starter is kinda weak please tell me why am I having an extended cranking issue with my 02 Regal LS? Great video. I have a 2002 Buick Century Custom with the same warning lights on. After watching your video and doing more research I am thinking that I need to replace some wheel speed sensor harness wires. Do you have a full video of this replacement? I understand the side closest to the wheel. I just need to know where it goes to on the other end and if I need anything else besides for just the wheel speed sensor harness. Thank you.

My 99 caddy eldo was going nuts with similar codes disabling 1st gear, traction control, abs and the stability system. I tried to replace wire to LF hub bearing as per service bulletin. Couldnt figure how to take connector at abs apart to replace wires. So i cleaned up connector pins, pluged it in and out a few times, and all codes disappeared and every thing started functioning perfectly.

This inspired me to finally fix my 04 Impala ABS light, I knew it was the right front harness from what the scan tool told me. It broke in two places, the first where you typically see it. the second up near the oil pan, along with the knock sensor wire. Some animal went to town on the wire harness. No more ABS or check engine lights!

I needed a new DVOM so I went to search the net and found the Power Probe has a combination Power Probe III and a DVOM meter. I ordered it, so you know what I'll be doing on my week off. Nice find there Eric. Experience keeps the jobs moving along and makes for great videos.

Ive replaced hundreds of these wire harnesses, and prob thousands of the bearing/sensors. seemed to be a major issue with these models back then. nice tool too! Im always leery of the bluetooth/wifi connecting

think i'd check those lower control arms closely, they may be rusted away from the inside out, weak and ready to break. it may not have been an issue on the 2002's though. one can only remember so much: )
