Chevy Impala: Door Locks Do Not Work / Trunk Will Not Open Garry: But 4 Actuators at one time or did I miss something. I did have a no ac complaint car with Duel Climate control that had # Door Actuators Stripped all at the Same time according to Cust, but who knows that could of been a Lie also anyway three Actuators and everything worked. Now we just had a Couple of Snow and i had an Appointment with the Finger Man what we here in the Desert call Down the Hill or Mountain Hour Drive and at 35 and Now My Impala 2007 the Heat is not working. I Have replaced all the Door and Blend Actuators over the last 3 Years but I have No codes I will have to Guess them Switch or Thermostat. I am going to stop working on Impalas everytime I work on one Crap starts going Bad with my own. Great Video

Car lot guy is gonna get somebody to install the Chinese 4. 00 each universal actuator kits (with the little rods that tap into the existing rods) from eBay and never touch the latches. That will get the locks going long enough to move it off the lot. Honestly, on a 2008 Chevy Impala, I think I would too!
Live videos are great. Much better than the fake stuff that some people edit together to make the jobs look quick and easy!

Great video mr o. Only thing Id like to add is, I find the reason why people say its not a big job is because of the people who put unnecessary parts into cars without proper diagnosis. I believe they fear if they say its a big job and turns out small, they will still get charged big bucks. Enjoying smac Great work. Loads to learn from you.

I have a question, my 2009 chevy malibu door locks unlock when i put the car in park. All 4 unlock. But when i go to lock with door switch, nothing. I have to lock all 4 individually, by hand. No sound when i hit the door switch or use key. Is my answer in this video?

NO YOUR COMPUTER IS NOT MESSED UP! You may notice this film has a lot of glitches and out of sync audio. I had a video card failing and did not notice until it was time to edit: ( Sorry, just thought it may be salvageable but it is pretty rough.

Live/Raw is best. Helps you in every way, production of more diag/repairs for us. Definitely less labor and headaches for you. Live thoughts are keys to successful diagnostics! Is as if we are 'at the scene' in your shoes! Thanks Eric.

It tells me that someone got sick of the trunk opening all by itself, they tried to look at it, and then just pulled the relay.
Unfortunately for them, the problem was probably with the key fob.

That's crazy that all 4 door lock actuators went. Mine went on the passenger side last year, I got one of the ebay cheap jobs and (knock on wood) it's been fine. Probably better than a Dorman!
