Just like the circuit in cars of the 50s, 60s, 70s? Maybe very close. But in looking at your diagram (9: 46) there was this dark green wire that the blower motor switch went to when in the off position. That wire could later be seen going to another blue block with the wire labeled as Blower Motor Control. It's been a long time since I worked on this but I am reasonably certain that in the old days the off position would not have connected to anything at all. I was also surprised by a fuse being shown as being part of the resistor block. I would have thought that any fuse would have been located further upstream. Its no big deal, it can be there, no problem, just a surprise to see it there.

Two minutes to supply power to the blower to see if it works, another two minutes to check grounds and resistance.
What are these Dumbo's playing at?
Surely the customer can go back to the garage and argue a case for a good chunk of her money back.

All it needed was a scotch lock. No need for such a complicated repair. Or just shove some folded cardboard behind it, that would have fixed it also. Then give it the ole Fonzerelli every now and then to look cool and impress the ladies.

Why would someone pay a repair bill when they don t fix the problem? I certainly appreciate all the new parts but when it s in the same condition when you leave the shop. I will consider the new parts complimentary.

You are good, after the tightening, I thought the only thing I would have done different was add some No-Ox. Didn't even have time to fire up the key board and out comes the No-Ox.

Not a car guy, I'm a house guy. How does a car ground when it's sitting on rubber tires? Obviously it does but I'm used to a ground being an 8' rod hammered in the earth.

I didnt see anything wrong with your methods. Honestly dont see what would trigger people. If people knew some of the things i have made work to get by in a pinch.

You know, if you were actually The Fonz, the ol Fonzarelli would work.
Perhaps putting Henry Winkler on payroll might be a good idea. Just sayin.

Anyone who fits a new blower motor without checking should eat the cost of it when it doesn't fix what the customer asked to get fixed.

As an electronics technician who solders for hours in a day, I am highly offended. That you didn't find a way to involve a welder.
