What’s interesting is how much performance has fallen off on those P100Ds through the years. In old CarWow videos the S P100 was running high 10s and the X P100 were running mid/low 11s, now they are almost 1. 5sec slower and by the end of the video the X P100 looked like it might struggle to beat a golf GTI. Either Carwow just forgot to charge these cars or battery degradation has hit hard.

If i remember correctly the p100d was in motortrend world greatest drag race where it beat the Ferrari 488gtb which had a 1/4mile of under 11 seconds so to say tesla has decreased the performance of the car through software or it had degraded it self over time because how would a car that beat a ferrari with 11 seconds quarter mile now is doing more 12 seconds quarter mile

Man the quality on this thing is just rubbish.
I love the interior but can't make it up for how badly assembled this. I wouldn't feel safe in it even if it took 5 stars rating

I don't think the OG P100Ds had ludicrous mode. Would be good to see the difference there as mine does so would have beaten the white Model S without it

I had a P100D model S and now a Plaid model SHUGE HUGE difference in acceleration especially at higher speeds. Plaid absolutely annihilates the old car
