As an owner of a base 991. 2, I knew the 911 w/ a PDK would easily take a manual GT350. The engine weight over the rear wheels and the PDK digs in like you would not believe. Every M4, Camaro, Mustang, WRX, Corvette and Tesla (non-Plaid) are shocked when they challenge me at a light. That said, the Mustang is half the price. Put another GBP 50K into the Mustang and you will get a different result.

This vid is TRASH. manual vs auto. really & the guy in the mustang seems to have issues shifting. wonder if he knows that 350 redlines at 8400RPM. & a the 7: 49 mark seems like mustang slowed down. seems staged. run a course track & time it or get a real manual driver

Mustang enthusiast here, ive owed 3 different mustangs and gotta say the mustang will definitely not beat the Porsche lol Specially not the manual transmission mustang LMAOOOO come on at least get an automatic. Also Sam is full of shit LOL definitely downshifted

Funny thing is that the percentage of GT350 (and similar trims) owners are drag racing 10x more often than base model 911 owners and many probably don't even know how capable they are. Many 911s are purchased for show and status.

What does it matter if he was engine braking and shifting down during the brake test, if anything, it makes the test more even, as the Porsche would have been shifting down itself and engine braking on its own being PDK

Mustangs and Challengers will always lose, i don't care how much HP those things have. Crap engineering since the 60's. Sad actually. Ive seen every version of shelbys lose to mid tier Porsches and BMWs

Something’s wrong with that mustang (aside from the Shit tires. Grey Market import Sounds like it’s missing. Porsche is great, But the mustang could’ve done much better than it did.

It’s big noisy and powerful, BUT it’s NO good if you can’t put that power down! It would have been very different if the Stang’ was 4 wheel drive! Come on Henry get it done!

The issue with Porsche is the appalling build quality and complex solutions with tendency to break. In a few years it will be trash, while the Mustang will keep going.

I can't think of anything less interesting than how fast these cars go in a straight line. Put them on road course and see how they compare instead of a silly drag race.

Does that Mustang really has 600 hp! It looks SLOW, not only in stand still but even in rolling races. I was expecting way better from a 200 hp difference booo!
