When going into a new car showroom of the big german luxury car brands, I am always fascinated with apparent obsession of the sales persons with specs. all of it they trow at you. At the moment the mention the words -road-feel-, I stop them, and I say: I do not want to feel anything of the road, I want to be isolated from the elements as much as possible. Then the defensive talk starts, where they try to convince you of the road holding, and performance. With a Lexus, like this RX, performance is not so important. It has to be adequate. Its all about comfort and safety. I am so glad that Lexus still build cars for a large group of people that want the maximum comfort, soft ride, low noise levels, beautifully build, combined with the highest possible reliability and safety.

Just picked up an F Sport version. Mat the Infotainment system is perfectly fine after a day of playing around with it, the heads up display is good. I don-t have the sunroof but that ok. The boot is big enough for most. The ride and handling is very good In F-sport trim with the adjustable dampers.
I have also managed to get the mpg graph to 60mpg, not that often, but it is possible. The G meter is a nice toy, Loving it so far. Surprising how often you can drive in electric mode around town, even at short bursts. every drop counts.

I want one. The early one of this Mark is getting affordable at last. Need to dump the diesel.
Went to test drive one today. amazing car. Was'nt that bad on the CVT acceleration. If you take your foot off the accelerator for just a second. Dont think its really for heavy footers. The boot isnt tall but area is ok. Very nice car to drive and plenty of accelation when needed. Mat I dont think you spend enough time in some of these cars you test. still very good reviews.

As a long term owner of the f-sport version it's a wonderful car to own. Reliable, comfortable, powerful and luxurius. No one builds a better made car. The big plus for me is lexus after sales care. no o e does customer service like lexus. It's hard now looking anywhere else for me. The comfort over long distances can't be ovetstated but fuel economy is poor. Long term I manage about 29mpg. Its worth it though for the ownership experience.

DONT BUY THE LEXUS GX 460-
I bought the 2018 lexus gx last month, currently with 540 miles on it. And now with passengers inside the car it is already leaning to the right. I called my dealer and they said that it is normal to lean. Is this a KDSS problem? Or coil spring? For a $56000 luxury car it shouldnt be like this. I know this will be a safety issue if you are driving at 65 mph.

Hey Carwow could u include reliability as part of your reviews because although these new cars will be reliable out of the factory it-s a buying concern for long term ownership n those seeing this video in the future and buying the car second hand. If you compare the reliability of Lexus cars compared to other Brand-s the Lexus will certainly have extra points

I do agree about the look of the screen, but the mouse with its haptic response when you land on a button to be pressed helps keep your eyes on the road For size, price, mileage on the petrol version, the RX 350 was the way to go. I was able to fit a boxed 70 inch television in it to take home from the electronics store.

Bought a used tiguan instead of this because I did not have the extra 15k to get a used one of these and I've had nothing but problems with the tiguan. 3 engine lights and a hefty repair fee. I'm going to repair the tiguan, fix it and trade it in for one of these, you can't beat a lexus. Euro cars are crap.

There are very little incentives to buy this vehicle. Too small, over priced, badly designed -boots-, complicated infotainment, theft magnet, drive quality to be desired. Some -non luxury- vehicles offer a lot more for half the price. But you do look good in it because very few can afford it.
