In 2016 the Nissan GT-R was given a major facelift since it was originally launched nine years ago in 2007. The idea was to make the GT-R easier to live with for everyday use, whilst not compromising on the sporty nature of this coupe. Nissan hoped this would allow the GT-R to compete against rivals such as the Jaguar F-Type Coupe, Mercedes AMG GT and Porsche 911 Turbo S in both design quality and, performance. So is the Nissan GT-R worth the high running costs? Have Nissan hit a home run with the GT-R, or is the interior still cheap to touch? Find out al my thoughts on the Nissan GT-R in this review

Nobody buys a GT-r for practicality but.
For the average Joe who's looking to persuade the other half that there really is a practical sports car and the family really does need a GT-r (its a hatchback) then it helps to have something that can be used everyday.
I had a 2009 R35 and used it daily but the best was loading it up with luggage (we used to get 2 x Samsonite suitcase's + a 35lt Antler in the boot, stick a 15 year old son in the back, drive to Heathrow, bugger off on holiday and know that when we returned that it would start.
Best of all, it would eat Porsche's.

This car can push it's limit up to around 330 km/h! That's just unbelievable and insane! No doubt this car is definitely worth the price cuz it is a FOUR-SEATER COMPACT car and has such incredible horsepower and speed! This is currently the only best sports dream car I ever wanted!

Even in those wet conditions, this AWD system is crazy to give this car traction and grip that it needs during that launch control-- I don't know if there is anything that this AWD system cannot do. The GT-R is still insane with the launch.

Mustang GT cost around 105k usd in India. Ferraris and lambos start at 500k-. N annual income, even for middle class is about 20-30k usd. So yeah, to us it's annoying to hear you call cars expensive.

Maybe it doesn't have the latest interior or the most responsive touch screen, but once you launch this car from 0, you'll fall in love with it. This thing is one hell of a launching machine

18/10/2020 still watch this. imo the interior of GT-R not sporty compared to the NSX just like a standard car. and the back seats were not really practical due to narrow space as well.

I agree, it's very weird how delayed the acceleration is in full automatic mode, and Nissan has not even attempted to address this after more than a decade. very strange

Nissan should have upgraded this thing with a modern 7 spd DCT years ago. It's the only weak point in an otherwise excellent package

Am I the only one who closes the door by the actual door and not the freaking window? I hate it when passengers do this to my car!

buy a GTR, give it a Liberty Walk body kit, Alpha 12 performance, then you got an unbeatable car by both performance and looks
