Honda has released the all-new Civic. The 10th generation model gets a fresh design inside and out, a stiffer, lighter chassis, more intricate suspension design and a pair of new petrol engines - all of which Honda believes will be enough to topple rivals like the Vauxhall Astra and Volkswagen Golf from the top of the class. But has the hard work paid off? Does it drive better than ever, or has the redesign come at the expense of comfort or practicality? I headed to the Civic's world debut to find out

Entertainment system in Honda is s--t. I have brand new Civic and is absolutely disaster. Laggy climate control, voice recognition hardy recognized anything, screen mirroring doesn't work etc. I spoke with Honda about it and Honda acknowledge the problem, but they won't do the update for entertainment system.

What I really like about this new honda is that they adjust themselves to this new trend of turbo petrol but their engines are capable of generating some decent hp. Compared to ford opel or whatever european/german cars. The 1. 5 petrol engine is in my point of view the most balanced engine on the market atm.

Shape is ok only thing I do not like are the black plastic panels at back and front.
There is no bar in roof lining against which Matt claimed he hit his head, at least not in my Prestige in which the head lining is well padded.
Rev hang is there for emission control and easy to drive around.

The ugliest generation of all. Sorry Honda but thats the truth. Its overdesigned with all these fake grills and spoilers make it almost repellent. It might have room for 5 passengers, plenty of cargo space, good gas mileage. but it has to look good too. like the other good old civics.

It really depends on what colour you are after. If you are after white or blue, then the sedan looks better. But for red, the sedan looks plain and bland (especially the back of the car) compared to the hatch. I know this as I have visited the showroom and saw both sedan and hatch.

The knee touches that 'L' pillar near the gear lever. It gets painful over long rides. Short trips is ok, long trips big no. I gave it up in the showroom after 30 minutes drive. Even the rep at the showroom admitted that to me. It's what most drivers complain about.

I love honda civic 1. 5 turbocharged engine, it's lovely looking, and sporty powerful. However, imagine. this. How do feel driving are civics 1. 5 turbo with prise more 100 thousands dollars worth of money in your country's --. that what happened in my country.

I got a blue civic manual gear box. Just1 problem with it the front sensor some times goes off saying something is in front of me when there isn't. BUT other than at it's great car and i love the sound it makes when you put your foot down.

Beauty is the eye etc etc and to me this car is stunningly beautiful, I simply love the looks front and rear. It has that 'Fast and Furious' looks going on and I thought my Seat Leon was a good looker until I saw the Honda and well.

I didn't like the styling when they first came out, but now, i quite like it, and in Sport and Sport Plus trim with the twin exhausts, i think it looks great, so much so, i'm thinking of getting a sport plus as my next car.
