No need to watch the review, just got rid of my CX5. Extremely disappointing reliability, the engine and other major mechanical components seem to be made from tissue paper. I never felt the driving experience was exceptional and fuel economy (diesel) was poor, unless you drove everywhere at 40 mph, and at that pace you are losing the will to live. I will admit that it was very comfortable but it is seriously overpriced. Delighted to see the back of it, I wouldn't recommend one to my worst enemy.

Apsolute crap quality car.
Would not recommend to anyone.
In two and a half years under guarantee 3 time changed engines in side window, isolation rubber in both doors changed due to no fit and unbearable noise with speed above 120kmh and advanced corrosion on the bottom of the car.
Full option car I got. Underpowered engine, high consumption, bad quality of paint.
Apart of good design the worst car I have ever driven.

The CX-5 is a quiet, refined drive. That being said the front seat bottoms don-t offer any thigh support, the arm rest is too far back, the dead pedal is too far forward and the steering wheel doesn-t pull out far enough. In addition the A pillar is too thick and it-s hard to see around. If you are 6ft tall or above, don-t buy this car. The driving position is flawed.

i got a CX-5 from 4 years ago. the infotainment shown here is EXACTLY the same! And the worst thing is that its now protruding. :/ whoever design the newer one doesn't know what they; re doing. my version is build in on the center console so its much cleaner. i think mazda has dropped the ball and probably milked the CX5 cow too much. im not buying this anymore.

Just for anyone who doesn't know, nappa leather is smoother, breathable and softer and usually comes from sheep, goats or calves, it is much softer than cowhide. The latter of course is much tougher. Nappa is often the choice for clothing and items such as handbags. It is not suitable for providing abrasion protection, for example motorcycle clothing.

The rare seat heating is placed on the armrest and can not be turned on unless it is down, which means if there is a third person in the back nobody can use the heating. Furthermore the position of the button makes a great inconvenience, because it can be pushed unintentionally by the passenger-s elbow. Poor engineering.

My 2019 CX5 Signature is not a very well made car, it is more -smoke and mirrors- than substance. Cheaply made components e. g, seats and seat railing, rear view mirror, engine, electronics (half the time the system don't boot up correctly, rusting chassis parts, cheap narrow tires, paint quality. plus - plus!

I love these videos, thanks. The 'weird storage area' you describe between the two back seats at around the 8: 18 mark is, in fact, space for the rear heated seats buttons, which obviously did not make it into the UK spec. Here in Canada that's included on the higher trim levels. It does seem very random!
