The way the Vanquish nameplate was used for a mid-engined supercar instead of a traditional -2+2- GT seemed promising. One of the drawbacks of the previous front-engined Vanquish anyway, were tiny rear seats which couldn't fit adults. And so, I think the idea of making the new Vanquish mid-engined could fit for a mere future of their lineup.

Lovely cars but am I the only one who feels these just don't look like -Aston Martin- cars? I guess that's the point and they moving on with their design but these cars look like they should have another manufacturers badge on them.

I think I'm one of the few that doesn't really like their new design ethos for the Vanquish Vision, it just doesn't feel like I'd recognise it as an Aston Martin. Looks more like a McLaren/Zonda to me.

Why does the Vanquish reminds me of Jaguar CX-75 + Ferrari 360 and the Lagonda of Tata x45.
Is it because Jaguar and Aston Martin shares same designer?

I'm not sure when this video was made. but Aston Martin already revealed the Vanquish concept will also have hybrid technology like the 003. :)

by the year 2022 McLaren 720s successor will already be released, and while yes the Aston looks stunning, it will be outdated in comparison
