Clamber into the behemoth known as the new Land Rover Discovery. The previous iteration and a unique monocoque chassis which sat atop of an almost indestructible ladder frame offering car like handling, but with classic SUV-style durability. It did make the car extremely heavy and it comes as no surprise that this updated model is 480kg lighter. However, fear not it still feels like a Discovery 4X4 to drive, but it-s comfortable cruising as well as clambering over obstacles. Discovery buyers can choose between four and six-cylinder diesels and a six-cylinder supercharged petrol.
