It does not have a CVT, the engine has 1 fixed gear only, which is equalient of the normal petrols 5th gear. Its activates after 70km/hr directly driving the front wheels. Rest of the time it just generates extra electricity directly to the motors. (i know its not german. but cmon)

Hey why does everybody say this is a cvt. It is not a CVT at all it has a one speed gearbox. Some say cvt and some says single speed gearbox. I say this is a single speed gearbox.
