I think you should include a standard car in all drag races for comparison just to see how bonkers fast some of these cars are and not only compared to each-other.
Someting like a VW Golf TDI or even a GTI (or similar very popular car)

I couldn't help but imagine ken block drifting around that porsche 1 inch away from the bumpers if you told him to be careful
Timmy is a great racer though, the way rally cross cars take off is hard to believe

I think that says a lot about the WRX and how they have managed to make it a great vehicle to work with and it's ability to even stay in the same league as the 918 tells the story of the little car that could.

Awesome video as always! However, now I d love to see some more drag races of more attainable (for ordinary folk) but still exciting cars. Really enjoyed the Miata drag race from earlier in the week.

Ok these kind of videos are starting to get cringy now. I don't know if Carwow are chasing views or whatever but this is way too much. Normal drag race with cool cars here and there is just fine.

Timmy so clearly jumped race 2 and 4. He is easily a car length ahead of Matt by the time the official drops her hands. Porsche would own it on all races if he didn't jump that bad.

The sound of that WRX engine. normally, 2. 0 ltr engines are still pretty boring, but once those rallye wizards get their hands on them, even a frenchie engine can sound amazing!

I m surprised the consistency of the launch on the 918 spider isn t as good as the 911 turbo, they ll do 10. 2 every launch. That said I know which I d prefer to own lol.

The acceleration off the line from the Rallycross car is nuts - gets ahead so well early on that it almost makes up for its total lack of gearing for the 1/4 mile!

The tires look not the same 0: 02 till 0: 05. Red bull car has another advance on tires, it is sling type and its designed for drag race! Porsche not!

it is mad that the 918 is. only a tenth of a second faster in the QM than the current 911 turbo despite all the electrics and over 200bhp more
