Yeah good idea we don't need anything in between 182 and 320 hp great strategy!
In my country for example taxes for cars in between 200-250 hp are acceptable 250-300 are debatable and over 300 hp just isn't for normal people because I don't want to work 2 months just to pay the taxes for my car if that makes sense.
That's probably the reason why Golf GTIs are so popular here with a powerrange between 200-250 hp
And there is always the Golf R for people with deeper pockets

Awesome video Matt. What-s even closer to my heart is as a younger person than I am today - I bought an EP3 Type R in cosmic grey like the one in this video. I also lost it cornering at high speed due to its playfulness and my unrealistic overconfidence in my driving ability. Gutted to say the least as it was an insurance write off. Thank Christ Honda sales rep suckered me into buying gap insurance with it!

Had the ep3 great car loved how it drived apart from when it rained the back end would flip out! I now own a 08 plate FN2 with remap exhaust induction kit better suspension set up with new bushes and its a fantastic car pulls like a train on the motorway! And they are going up in value --

the fn2 is just as fast as the ep3! all the people saying the fn2 is slow! ep3 handles better but has a crap and cheap inertia fn2s inertia still looks fresh and the best deal for the money! ive just bought one modified with a ecutec ecu 238 bhp so not far off the power of the mugen!

I agree EP3 for that old school fun. Something we are loosing with modern cars for many reasons. I-ve owned a 99 DC2 Acura Integra Type R and I miss he so much. No aids, horrible stereo, no AC but so much fun to drive.
I-d still take a brand new Type R.

I bought the EP3 (Face lift model ) brand new in 2002, I swapped if for a 2002 Subaru WRX STI, both great cars, but I regret selling the EP3, it was so much fun, with the best gear box I have ever had, when the VETEC kicks in hold on!

FK8 or FD2 over any other Civic Type R. EP3 is too overrated imo. I find the Acura RSX Type S more fun than an EP3 and yes i know that-s an Integra vs Civc. Tho the RSX Type S is literally just a Type R. Type S vs Type R.

Don't let this distract you from the fact that Hector is gonna be running three Honda Civics with Spoon engines, and on top of that he just came into Harry's and he ordered three T66 Turbo's with NOS. And a MoTec system exhaust.

I really don't understand why people think the FN2 looks the best. It looks like garbage?
FK8 is the best looking imo. Maybe people don't like the over the top look of the newest model?

I would not buy the new civic type r because the others the older ones are not like with a screen and stuff like the new one but I think they are better looking and at racing
