Why is there not a word about safety, reliability, quiet, or durability? Those are the primary concerns of drivers - particularly high-IQ drivers: the sorts who buy sedate luxury sedans, when they're new. This is below my normal price range. But I love the styling, and would consider a step down, now that Lexus LS looks like a Pimpmobile, and is so low-to-the-ground, it will be practically useless in real-world conditions. As for the question: (Which car looks best, I'd say the Kia. It's refined, restrained, dignified, and important-looking. And they make it in a particularly beautiful deep blue. Previously, Kia only made its luxury sedans in fearful, conformist colors like black and grey - colors I will not consider. There's also a good brown offered, now. My only reservation is the cheap-looking Ford-like grille - well. and I wonder about safety and DURABILITY (as opposed to reliability. My Lexus has both. Does Kia have both, now? I don't care about the gadgets.

The fact that Kia is even being compared to luxury brands quite often now as well, means it is a quality luxury rival.
The fact it is so so much cheaper and reliable, backed with an insane warranty. Screw the badge snobs. I traded in my expensive fully loaded E class for a 3. 3 Stinger. I tested everything as well over 3 months before making decision. Audi, Lexus, bmw. They are all great and have their pros and cons. BUT for the money the stinger is just awesome hasnt fallen apart like my E class did from brand new. Better features as standard. Quick as hell. And my favourite is that its rare on UK roads. KIA is winning in my book. Love the underdog taking on the big boys and succeeding.

The truth is KIA isn't positioning the K9 as a Mercedes competitor, but as a feature-laden, attractive and well-built big car for those who can't handle a $100K Merc. And at that they're succeeding - as with the rest of their lineup. But all you need look at is KIA's trajectory over the existence of the badge to see that they're also climbing a rung or two up the ladder with each new design. Granted, that's a long ladder to get to S Class or 7 series or A8. But they're definitely taking market share and now offer an alternative to those who have had to choose from the next size group down. For folks who want a big car and don't have 6 figures to spend, this K9 could be the choice.

The Audi A8 is by far the best looking. But I can tell you (In search for a new used car) I sat in the first gen k900, last gen LS 460 and audi A8, some Jags and so on. ( all around 2012 - 2015). and the only thing that compares to the kia's interior feel is an S class and the LS 460. I know, it is weird but suddenly seven series looks outdated, jag looks like a sports car and audi. I love Audis and I hate to say it, but it feels kinda cheap and sporty compared to true luxury

Videos like this are the reason Kia's reputation is still struggling. This is a rather snarky video and although I know Matt is like that in general, it's turned up to 11 just because it's a KIA. I have no idea what's so bad about this car. For instance the styling really isn't bad, I put it 3rd on the list ahead of the A8 with the BMW barely beating it into 2nd. All things considered, I would by this K900 and be happy about it.

I mean, you get like 7-10 years of warranty or up to 150'000km and I bet it costs half the money a mercedes S-Class does. Interior wise I almost if not actually like it more than the mercedes. Outside. With the right rims on it I'd really like it! Don't care about the badge. I prefer to pay 2 dollars for a hot dog I like instead of 200m dollars for a goldplated gourmet hotdog anyday.

It's a Peter Schreyer design, formerly of Audi/VW etc. The Merc, the Audi and other luxury brands have a crap warranty. PS The stinger Mat drove I think had the piss beat out of it by media people. I sell KIA's in America and none of the Stingers I have sold, or demo'd have ever done that -Wiggle thing-.

Maybe the design isn't that original or inspiring, but I admire their progress in build quality, this is best value for money in this class, but the problem is that the value for money doesn't play main role in this class. I think it is time for KIA to make luxury brand, like Hyundai did with Genesis.

I think all four look okay, but the Kia is certainly the most ordinary. As to which looks best, I guess it largely depends on what one is looking for. As this is the luxury sector, I would choose the Audi, as it is in my opinion the classiest looking.

The design is lot better than any other. None of a kind and unique design. The interior as well is good and that too its been designed by a watchmaker. But I think that there must be more color options for this car. K900 IS A GOOD CAR!
